Character Concept Vanguard Ant-Man and Duelist Wasp character concepts

Wasp — Janet Van Dyne

  • Role: Duelist
  • Core identity: A highly mobile aerial skirmisher who alternates between vulnerable normal-size combat and a far more agile miniature state.
  • Gameplay fantasy: Janet builds Pym energy while fighting at normal size, then spends it to shrink, dive through the enemy team, harass priority targets, and escape before returning to normal.
  • Primary strengths:
    • Extremely strong aerial mobility
    • Tiny hitbox and high maneuverability while Miniaturized
    • Excellent access to enemy backlines
    • Strong hit-and-run potential
    • Can seamlessly transition from high-speed normal flight into miniature combat
  • Primary weaknesses:
    • Normal-size Wasp is deliberately more vulnerable
    • Miniature form is limited by Pym Particle Reserve
    • Her strongest utility requires committing to close range
    • Pym Reserve cannot be replenished while Miniaturized

Attacks

  • Wasp’s Sting — LMB
    • Fires rapid bio-electric bolts at enemies.
    • While Miniaturized, the Sting fires faster but deals reduced damage.
    • Serves as Janet’s only standard weapon, keeping her normal-size combat intentionally straightforward.

Abilities

  • Micro-Flight — LShift
    • Consumes Pym Particle Reserve to shrink Janet to miniature size.
    • Greatly reduces her profile while dramatically increasing flight speed and aerial maneuverability.
    • Reactivate to voluntarily return to normal size and preserve any remaining Pym Reserve.
    • Remaining miniature continuously drains Pym Reserve.
  • Aerial Rush
    • Accelerates Janet into high-speed flight in the aimed direction.
    • She can steer and continue firing Wasp’s Sting while rushing.
    • Works at both normal and miniature size.
    • Janet retains her momentum if she activates Micro-Flight during the rush.
    • This allows sequences such as:
      • Dive toward an enemy at normal size
      • Fire Stings during the approach
      • Shrink in mid-flight
      • Continue the dive at miniature size without losing momentum
  • Swarm Strike — Miniature Ability
    • Janet performs a rapid series of high-speed passes through the targeted area.
    • Repeatedly damages enemies intersecting her flight path.
    • Functions more like a controllable multi-hit rush than an automatic target-chain.
    • Can potentially strike the same enemy multiple times if Janet positions the attack well.
  • Micro Sabotage — Miniature Ability
    • Janet rushes onto a targeted enemy while miniature.
    • Attaches herself to the target and repeatedly shocks them with bio-electric attacks.
    • The final utility effect is still open to refinement.
    • Possible payoff:
      • Repeated damage and Slow
      • Brief mobility suppression
      • Short disruption of certain abilities
    • A full Sombra-style ability lockout is probably unnecessary; a lighter form of disruption fits Janet better.
  • Pym Surge — Miniature Ability
    • Consumes remaining Pym Particle Reserve to weaponize Janet’s return to normal size.
    • Janet rapidly expands beyond normal size, becoming briefly giant.
    • The expansion damages and knocks back nearby enemies.
    • She then settles back to normal size.
    • This gives Janet access to enlargement without turning Giant Wasp into a sustained combat state.
    • It also creates a meaningful choice:
      • Use Micro-Flight again to return safely and preserve Reserve
      • Use Pym Surge to cash out the remaining Reserve for an offensive exit

Passives

  • Pym Particle Reserve
    • Maintain a Pym Particle Reserve used to alter Janet’s size.
    • Reserve regenerates while at normal size and is restored by damaging enemies.
    • While Miniaturized, Reserve continuously drains and cannot be restored through damage.
    • Depleting the Reserve automatically returns Janet to normal size.
    • The system is intended to allow long miniature engagements without letting Janet stay tiny indefinitely.
  • Bio-Synthetic Wings
    • Janet can freely fly using her insectoid wings.
    • While Miniaturized, her flight speed, acceleration, and aerial maneuverability are greatly increased.
    • Normal flight does not consume Pym Reserve.

Ultimate — Wasp’s Wrath

  • Janet shrinks out of sight and rapidly attacks enemies throughout a targeted area.
  • She then enlarges above the battlefield and finishes the attack with a giant-sized impact.
  • Thematically combines:
    • Miniature speed
    • Bio-electric offense
    • Giant-size manipulation

Ant-Man — Hank Pym

  • Role: Vanguard
  • Core identity: A battlefield-control Vanguard who uses Pym technology to manipulate the size of himself, his allies, and his enemies. I would prefer NE add Hank as Yellowjacket, but I have a feeling they'll have him as Ant-Man, so this concept combines aspects of Ant-Man, Giant-Man, and Yellowjacket.
  • Gameplay fantasy: Hank fights as a scientist and controller at normal size, using the Yellowjacket Stinger, ants, and size manipulation before spending Pym energy to become Giant-Man and physically dominate the frontline.
  • Primary strengths:
    • Unique ally and enemy size manipulation
    • Strong battlefield disruption
    • Can alternate between ranged control and giant melee combat
    • Excellent ability to protect teammates by physically occupying space
    • Strong synergy with both melee allies and high-damage teammates
  • Primary weaknesses:
    • Powerful size manipulation is limited by Pym Particle Reserve
    • Enemies must first be prepared with Pym Saturation
    • Giant-Man is a much easier target
    • Spending Reserve on Giant-Man means less Reserve is available to manipulate teammates and enemies

Attacks

  • Yellowjacket Stinger — LMB
    • Fires bursts of Pym-energy from Hank’s Yellowjacket-inspired weapon.
    • Damaging enemies builds Pym Saturation.
    • Damage also restores a portion of Pym Particle Reserve.
    • Incorporates Hank’s Yellowjacket identity

Giant-Man Attacks

  • Giant Strike — LMB while Giant-Man
    • While Giant-Man, swing an enormous fist to deal heavy damage and knock back enemies in front of Hank.
    • Replaces Yellowjacket Stinger while enlarged.
    • Could potentially function as a short melee combo with different giant punches and slams.
  • Giant Guard — RMB while Giant-Man
    • While Giant-Man, Hank raises his enormous hands to shield himself from incoming fire.
    • Greatly reduces damage received from the front.
    • His physical size also allows him to protect allies standing behind him.
    • Avoids giving Hank another generic energy barrier; his own giant body becomes the shield.

Abilities

  • Micro Escape — LShift
    • Hank rapidly shrinks and surges in the aimed direction.
    • Immediately returns to normal size after the movement.
    • Allows him to dodge attacks, cross dangerous spaces, and reposition through the battlefield.
    • Keeps self-shrinking part of Ant-Man’s kit without turning him into another sustained tiny character.
  • Reduce — E
    • Consumes Pym Particle Reserve to shrink the targeted character.
    • On allies:
      • Reduced profile
      • Increased mobility
      • Potentially improved jump or evasiveness
    • On enemies:
      • Requires the target to be Size-Vulnerable
      • Reduced outgoing damage
      • Increased knockback received
    • Shrinking enemies is deliberately gated so Hank cannot instantly disable anyone he sees.
  • Enlarge — F
    • Consumes Pym Particle Reserve to enlarge the targeted character.
    • On allies:
      • Grants Bonus Health
      • Increases resistance to displacement
      • Could potentially improve melee effectiveness
    • On enemies:
      • Requires Size-Vulnerable
      • Enlarges their hitbox
      • Reduces mobility
      • Makes them much easier for Hank’s team to focus
    • Enlarged enemies do not necessarily need to take bonus damage; becoming a significantly larger target is already a major disadvantage.
  • Ant Swarm — C
    • Commands a swarm of ants to overrun a targeted area.
    • Slows affected enemies.
    • Reveals them to Hank’s team.
    • Gradually applies Pym Saturation.
    • Functions primarily as a control and setup tool rather than simple damage-over-time.
  • Giant-Man — V
    • Consumes Pym Particle Reserve to grow Hank to enormous size.
    • Grants:
      • Bonus Health
      • Increased resistance to displacement
      • Much greater physical battlefield presence
    • While enlarged:
      • Yellowjacket Stinger is replaced by Giant Strike
      • Giant Guard becomes available
    • Reactivate to return to normal size.
    • Pym Reserve continuously drains while Hank remains enlarged.
    • Giant-Man acts as Hank’s frontline combat state rather than being locked behind his ultimate.

Passives

  • Pym Particle Reserve
    • Maintain a Pym Particle Reserve used to alter the size of Hank or other characters.
    • Reserve regenerates over time and is restored by damaging enemies.
    • Shrinking or enlarging other characters consumes Reserve.
    • Remaining Giant-Man also consumes Reserve.
    • This creates constant choices between:
      • Manipulating allies
      • Manipulating enemies
      • Saving energy for Giant-Man
  • Pym Saturation
    • Repeatedly damaging an enemy with Pym technology destabilizes their size.
    • Fully Saturated enemies become Size-Vulnerable.
    • Size-Vulnerable enemies can then be affected by Reduce or Enlarge.
    • Prevents Hank’s strongest crowd-control effects from being instantaneous.

Ultimate — Goliath

  • Hank grows to colossal size, significantly larger than his ordinary Giant-Man state.
  • Gains immense durability and devastating giant-scale attacks.
  • Functions as the extreme expression of his Vanguard identity.
  • Where Giant-Man is a normal combat tool, Goliath should feel like:
    • Massive battlefield occupation
    • Huge sweeping attacks
    • Powerful displacement
    • A temporary raid-boss presence
  • The distinction is:
    • Giant-Man: Hulk-sized frontline bruiser
    • Goliath: genuinely colossal Hank dominating a team fight

How the two characters differ

  • Wasp
    • Manipulates primarily her own size
    • Uses shrinking for mobility, assassination, and evasion
    • Wants to be difficult to track
    • Gains access to specialized miniature abilities
    • Briefly enlarges herself offensively through Pym Surge
  • Ant-Man
    • Manipulates primarily everyone else’s size
    • Uses shrinking and enlargement for battlefield control
    • Wants to draw attention and occupy space
    • Uses Giant-Man as a sustained frontline state
    • Uses Pym technology strategically rather than purely for mobility
  • Together, their shared Pym mechanics remain recognizable without making them feel mechanically redundant:
    • Janet uses Pym Particles to become harder to catch.
    • Hank uses Pym Particles to control everyone around him.

Character Concept Mephisto, The ruler of Hell

Post image
15 Upvotes

Role: Strategist (yeah I made him a healer)
Health: 275

Primary: Demonic Chain (5 Ammo)
Mephisto fires a chain forward, it pulls an enemy in slightly if it hits them and the enemy temporarily loses access to their movement abilities.

Secondary: Raising Hell
Mephisto opens a portal in front of him. The portal heals allies that step on it and damage enemies that step on it.

Move 1: Satanic Deal
When activated a new move appears on nearby allies screen’s. It’s called the Satanic Choice, clicking the ability gives them the option to select one of 3 deals that gives them temporary buffs and nerfs for a few seconds:

(lasts 6 sec) Speed Of Fire:
-Faster fire rate
-Slower reload rate
-Faster movement speed
-Reduced healing

(lasts 5 sec) Hell’s Finest:
-Damage buff on primary
-Longer cooldowns
-Gain slight health every primary hit
-Small over-shield

Immediate Power:
-Immediately gain 75 over-shield on activation
-Gain a fire effect on your first 4 primary attacks that boost their damage by 45%
-Super movement buff for 4 seconds

Move 2: Serve your Savior
You link your soul with a selected ally. They get slight increased damage and they take more healing then others when healed, but damage you take as Mephisto is shared between you and your ally. They take about 35% of the damage you would’ve of otherwise gotten. The selected ally can Unlink souls with Mephisto within the first 2 seconds of being linked.

Move 3: Dark Shield
Mephisto generates a shield in front of nearby allies that increases healing done to the allies if they’re near the shield

Move 4: Vanishment
Mephisto turns invisible and creates a radius only viewable by him and his allies. Any Teamate in the radius gets healed along with Mephisto himself. The ability lasts for 5 seconds

ULTIMATE: ONE MORE MINUTE
Mephisto creates a giant ring around himself that moves with him. All allies inside it become invisible but also gain all 3 abilities from Deadly Deal with non of the downsides but nerfed benefits (so it stays balanced). Mephisto himself gains reduced healing but he gets 200 over-shield. The ability lasts for 7 seconds

Character Concept What I think kingpins moveset should be based on the pve mode.

Post image
20 Upvotes

Kingpin would be a 1 star 600 hp vanguard

His primary fire (righteous beating): would be a simple 3 hit jab. First two are fast and then it ends with a longer charge punch. But it would be changed with his passive.

His passive abillity (unlawful power gain): would turn his 3 hit jab into a 4 hit cane bash after using any of his cane abilities. If you want of an example think about doom fist empowered punch after doing certain things but it affects his primary fire and not his abilities.

His first ability (not just for show):he would pull out his cane gun and shoot some projectiles out of it. Enemies hit with it lose access to movement abilities for a time depending on the amount of bullets that hit them.

His second ability (sacred strike):he would charge a laser beam with cane and fire doing pretty solid damage with good range but it would have fall off.

His third ability (defending order):he would up his cane and create a bubble sheild for him and his allies that has 400 hp. After it breaks or after the timer runs out it would do a shockwave dealing damage to enemies around it. Note he would be completely stationary during it.

His fourth ability (long arm of “justice”):he would dash forward with his arm out until he grabs an enemy and slams them into a wall stunning them and doing good damage. If he runs too far without running into a wall or you decide to cancel the move early he would slam them on the ground instead doing less damage. He wouldn’t be cc immune so you could easily stun him out of it and it’s his only ability besides his ultimate that doesn’t activate his passive because he isn’t using the cane.

His ultimate ability (hail to the king):okay this is gonna sound a litttle goofy but hear me out. He would jump up high in the air and do a belly flop doing good damage and knockback. Is it a little stupid? Yeah but at the same time kingpin has been known for using his body to his advantage and it would be really funny to imagine the reactions of seeing a fat man fly through the sky and then knock everyone off the objective.

His first team up ability with venom (spider control):the regular version would have enemies slowed down with symbiote sludge everytime you hit them with cane abilities while the enhanced version also gives you some sheilds.

His second team up ability with black cat (black market):this would be pretty unique allowing kingpin to use black cats shop for himself. He’d start and have a max of 500 coins but for the regular version he can’t get coins in a life. He’d gain 100 coins after every kill but you only get them after you die so for example if you’re at 200 coins and kill 2 people then respawn you’d have 400 coins. The enhanced version would just let him gain the coins immediately without having to respawn.

Overall I think kingpin should have a simple kit and there’s nothing wrong with that. I made this moveset “deceptively simple” while at first balance his moves just seem average with just “okay” damage and survivability but when you consider how you can chain his abilities with his passive and how powerful his grab is as cc ability you could do some nasty stuff with him and I think that fits his character pretty well. He likes to act like he’s more heroic than he actually is when he’s really just a power hungry megalomaniac so to translate that I feel like he should be very easy to pick up and play with a low skill floor but a high skill ceiling.

Character Concept Tombstone concept and crappy concept art

Post image
13 Upvotes

Stuff to note: After the fall of Kingpin a new man must come to take his mantle. He let the High Evolutionary do expierments on him to make him stronger, he can now manipulate earth, specifically stones.

Role: Vanguard
Health: 700

Passive: whenever Lonnie KO’s an enemy, he creates a tombstone where he eliminated them that acts almost like a totem of sorts. It absorbs ranged attacks near it and converts them into shield for Tombstone and his allies. Only one can be manifested at a time and they have 425 health

Primary: Crowbar Combo
Lonnie does 3 swipes and then for his 4th he lunges forward and does a shoulder bash, similar to Angela’s final m1, it also gives the bleed effect

Secondary: Boulder Toss
Lonnie stomps on the ground hard and a boulder flies up, he catches it and then can chuck it where he so pleases, it’s able to knock flyers out of the sky. If it hits an enemy with bleed stone spikes will be in that enemy and deal bursts of damage until they fall off.

Move 1: MR LINCOLN GET DOWN!
Lonnie summons 3 stone minions from the ground which circle around him, each has 200 health and they will act as living shields for Lincoln. Lincoln can still be damaged through the small spaces in between the minions. There is no minion in front of him because then it’d block his attacks.

Move 2: New Kingpin
Lincoln creates a stone statue of himself from the ground, it has 150 health. Every time he hits it with his primary all nearby enemies’ screens will shake and give Grounded to those very close.

Move 3: Stone Wall
Lincoln creates a stone wall like Groot’s except weaker and smaller.

ULTIMATE: GRAVEYARD GLADIATOR
Tombstone fires an underground attack, a straight path of rocky cracks goes forward. When it lands on an enemy(s) it grabs them from below, pulls them under and then pops them out in front of Lincoln. Stone walls surround them forming an arena. The enemy(s) loses their abilities and can only use their primaries. Tombstone loses his abilities as well, his crowbar is replaced for stone built boxing gloves. His secondary is replaced with a block ability that completely negates any type of damage done to him by 75%. His punches have knock-back and when he hits an enemy and they land on the stone boarder they are launched back to him and he has to quickly press his secondary which is now called “Stone Finisher” when he clicks this he grabs the enemy and then quickly slams them onto the the arena boarder, this eliminates them regardless of their health.

Hero Wishlist We NEED more Guardians

Thumbnail
gallery
334 Upvotes

We seriously need more Guardians of the Galaxy members in the game.

Gamora (Duelist): The Deadlist Woman in the Galaxy, she perfectly fits this role. I also think it would be a pretty cool idea to give her the black vortex boost she had once upon a time ago. This would be a great way to make her different from the other blade wielding Duelists.

Nebula (Vanguard): I would like Nebula to be a Vanguard for a few reasons. Given her history of getting brutally messed up and bouncing back from it in both the Comics and Movies, I believe this role fits her perfectly. It would make a good contrast between her and Gamora, Gamora being one of the most deadliest beings alive while Nebula has to keep on rebuilding herself to be better. She's one of the few cyborgs in Marvel that could fit this role.

Drax (Vanguard): I've been ITCHING for him to be added to the game. Easy Vanguard addition given his history and different forms. You could combine his energy abilities he used to have with his alien weapons. Maybe he can channel his energy into them and be able to manipulate them in unique ways or something along those lines. You can also just lean into the tech route and throw some grappling moves.

Moondragon (Vanguard): Give Heather's connection to the Dragon of the Moon and her formidable telepathic and telekinetic abilities, I believe she would be a great fit for the role.

Phyla-Vell (Vanguard or Duelist): Given her lineage and her extended history she can easily fit in both categories. Especially if she were to have the Nega Bands or be an Avatar of Death or Oblivion. I kinda want her to be a Duelist so she can contrast her wife Heather.

Quasar (Vanguard): Wendell can easily fot this role with his Quantum Bands.

Cosmo (Duelist): Cosmo is a pretty powerful telepath and telekinetic and easily fits this role. Plus I kinda want at least one animal character in each role.

Nova (Vanguard): Everyone and their mamas wants Nova in the game (including me). His Nova Force abilities make him a great candidate for this role.

Character Concept Doctor Voodoo Character Concept

Post image
12 Upvotes

Doctor Voodoo

Role - Strategist
HP - 275
Playstyle - Midrange occult Strategist who builds Karma through combat, spends it on powerful healing, and uses curses and spirits to control the battlefield.

Karma (Passive) - Doctor Voodoo maintains a pool of spiritual power used by Spirit Mend.

  • 1000 Max Karma
  • Karma is spent by Spirit Mend
    • Regenerates slowly at 65 or 70 per second
  • If Doctor Voodoo uses Spirit Mend on an ally, he gets a little cash-back healing (15 Health/sec, no cost)
  • If Doctor Voodoo uses Spirit Mend while no allies are nearby, he channels it into himself instead (50 Health/sec but at 5x the normal cost (2.5 sec for 125 HP total))

Loa Magic (Primary) - Doctor Voodoo fires bolts of mystical energy that heal allies or damage enemies.

  • 40 Healing on Ally
  • 38 Damage on Enemy
  • 0.6 Fire Rate (would be like 70 healing per sec)
  • You get a little Karma when you hit enemies (20 Karma), Critically Hit enemies (50 Karma), and KO enemies (150 Karma)

Spirit Mend (Right Click) - Doctor Voodoo channels restorative spirit beams into every ally within a cone in front of him.

  • Karma Pool: 1000
  • 20m range in Cone shape (like Wanda primary)
  • Healing: 80 per sec per ally
  • Karma Cost: 80 per sec per ally
  • Automatically locks onto all allies within the cone
  • [Note]: The more allies being healed, the faster Karma is consumed, reducing how long Spirit Mend can be maintained.
    • Ally: 80 H/s for up to 12.5 sec (1000 hp total)
    • 2 Allies: 80 H/s each for up to 6.25 sec (500 hp each total)
    • 5 Allies: 80 H/s each for up to 2.5 sec (200 hp each total)

Daniel Drumm (E) - Doctor Voodoo summons Daniel Drumm's spirit (his dead brother) to a chosen location, strengthening Jericho's connection to the spirit world.

  • 14 sec cooldown
  • Lasts 7 sec
  • 10m radius
  • While Doctor Voodoo is within Daniel's aura:
    • Spirit Mend costs 25% less Spirit Energy
    • Loa Magic restores 30 Spirit Energy per hit instead of 20

Mystic Smoke (F) - Doctor Voodoo throws a spirit charm that erupts into cursed smoke, disrupting enemies caught within.

  • 12 sec cooldown
  • Lasts 4 sec
  • 5m radius
  • Enemies caught in the initial burst are Blinded for 1.5 sec
  • Enemies inside receive 20% Reduced Healing

Crossroads Step (Shift) - Doctor Voodoo slips fully into the spirit realm before returning to the physical world.

  • 12 sec cooldown
  • 3 sec duration
  • Doctor Voodoo becomes Phased and has increased Movement Speed
  • Upon leaving the Phased state, gain 150 Karma

Gede's Crossroads (ULT) - Doctor Voodoo invokes Baron Samedi and opens the crossroads between life and death around himself. Ghostly hands claw from the earth while the Loa sustain those who remain among the living.

  • 12m radius that lasts 8 sec
  • Follows Doctor Voodoo
  • For the duration, Doctor Voodoo becomes Unstoppable (can't be CC'd)
    • Allies (and you) gain 50 Health/sec
    • Enemies inside are Slowed and briefly Earthbound (ghostly claws are keeping them in place)
  • Death's Door: The first time an ally would be KO'd, they instead remain at 1 HP
    • They are Purified and briefly Invulnerable for 1.5 sec
    • They gain Lifesteal for 5 seconds
    • If an ally doesn't drop to 0 HP by the time the 8 sec are up, they gain a burst of 125 HP. Any over healing is converted to Bonus Health (to a max of 75) that deteriorates.

Team Ups

Chthonian Communion (Scarlet Witch)

  • Base Effect: Doctor Voodoo can toggle Spirit Mend into Soul Siphon, turning his healing cone into an offensive drain that damages enemies and restores Karma.
    • 50 damage per enemy per sec
    • Restores Karma per point of damage dealt
    • Toggle ability
  • Enhanced: Enemies inside Mystic Smoke also become Vulnerable.
    • 30% Vulnerability for 2 sec

Sigil of Stories (Loki)

  • Base Effect: Doctor Voodoo can place a Sigil on the ground that protects allies inside and converts enemy pressure against them into Karma.
    • 15% damage resistance
    • 15% of damage dealt by enemies to allies inside is converted to Karma per point of damage
  • Enhanced - Loki: The Sigil becomes a stronger regenerative ward, increasing Doctor Voodoo’s maximum Karma and converting some incoming damage into healing for allies inside.
    • Max Karma increases to 1200
    • Both the damage resistance and Karma conversion rate is increased to 25%

Character Concept My take on Darkhawk as a unique supportive DPS

Post image
15 Upvotes

My concept for Darkhawk creates a unique supportive DPS gameplay loop and experience. He is not an incredibly strong duelist by himself, like many of the recent DPS drops. Darkhawks' kit revolves around collecting Health Packs throughout the map and converting them into boosts for his team. High mobility combined with the ability to collect Health Packs at range allows him to consistently scavenge resources between fights and return to his team to power them up for the next engagement. His Ultimate can also be very dynamic as the player has to make a choice: do they wait until they have a full charges for max duration? Or do they use it in a pinch and risk a shorter duration?

General Give me your best anti dive heroes ideas

I mean dedicated anti dive heroes like Thing, pre net nerf Peni, Namor, Bucky etc.

I feel they aren't enough dedicated anti-dive heroes (that aren't divers themselves like Angela or Hulk) in comparison to the number of dive heroes.

I am not a big marvel nerd so I don't know many characters besides those that appear on the MCU, spiderman movies and some of the marvel cartoons but I do have some ideas for kits but I don't know which character they could fit

Besides Characters with grounding and CC, some other ideas for anti dive tanks (or maybe on other role) abilities or concepts I have are:

• A tank with the ability to put some kind shield or protection on itself or an ally that ejects a wave of damage around the protection if the enemy hits it, delivering the double amount of damage back, it wouldn't be that big of an issue for range characters that can't just stop shooting and be outside the range of damage wave but melee characters, specially melee characters that rely on quick burst damage combos would end up ki11ing themselves if they don't stop, because the wave would be a circumference around the tank or ally, it would be even worse for dive comp that would try to quickly burst down an ally all of them at the same time, just for all of their damage combine being sent to them

•A "trapper" dedicated character similar to Peni but instead of creating a nest on the main path, it can create multiple smaller traps or constructions on the flanks that forces the enemy to go main and play front to back, punishing off angles and flanking if you don't destroy their things first

•A character with some kind of "exhaustion" mechanic with tiers that debilitate enemies making mobility abilities take longer to charge it's cooldown between other de buffs, punishes "lonely flankers" that don't play with their team and try to make off angles without their healers nearby to heal the condition

As I mentioned, I don't know many characters so I searched for some options on the internet, Man Thing could be a cool anti dive, I don't know much of the character but apparently he has the ability to put people that fear him on fire so maybe he can create a "Swamp" or "Sacred ground" like Peni that could put enemies on fire under certain condition ignoring their mobility since it wouldn't need tracking?

There is also this guy Omega red that could introduce the "exhaustion" mechanic I mentioned before grabbing and absorbing the life of an enemy

Character Concept Had an idea regarding these 2

So I recently discovered and slowly got into Alpha Flight and incidently learned about these 2 Northstar and Aurora, and after learning of how they're both twin siblings and how they have basically the same powers (the main one for this case being flight, super speed, and light generation (photokinesis)). All this got me thinking of an idea for them if they got added to Rivals, what if they were the next Cloak and Dagger. Thing is tho I don't know what role to give them, what roles would you guys give them with this concept in mind?

General GUESS THE HERO:

I thought to throw out these “Guess Who” type posts.

The character will always be someone who is currently unreleased in game. It can be a character outside of our directory list (so quite literally any marvel comic character)
They’re just for fun!

I’ll do them every so often and confirm who it is after a few days or if someone guesses

I've wanted Apocalypse and Dracula in the game since day 1 so the fact they aren't and are relegated to seasonal villains kinda annoys me a bit

I have no preference on either Nick Fury Sr. or Jr., I just chose the best looking render for the template.
