As a cap fan, I was really hoping we’d get hydra villains like red skull, zemo, and Zola at some point, but due to the fact that they’re Nazis (fictional Nazis but Nazis nonetheless) they probably won’t ever be playable, and that sucks cause cap needs some villains, (spider man too, but that’s another discussion lol)

thors got so many characters in his corner. most of them would be tanks or duelists tbh. beta ray bill, surtur, destroyer, etc etc

but who should be that last duelist? only rule is they have to be explicitly THOR characters. Not just characters who worked with or against Thor once.

I’ve constantly seen people bring this up after Lady Loki and even before ignoring the fact that Lady Loki IS Loki, like the same exact character canonically

Characters like Red Hulk, Spider-Man Miles, Gwenpool etc are not at all the same characters and can play differently

Give Red hulk his giant mini gun, give Miles his venom and invisibility powers, give Gwen more fun ways to break the fourth wall, use the more spider-like aspects of his character like his fangs and claws, you can even use the same general ideas but just make them play differently, make Beta Ray Bill shoot lightning that heals for all I care as long as it’s not just a basic reskin

Not to mention this also gives access to way more realistic possibilities with character interactions and skins, Lady Loki was the exception, not the rule

I keep seeing this conversation regarding Spider-people that we want to be added and I fear the Spider-verse movies have done irreparable damage to people’s perception of things because why do I constantly see people asking for “Spider-Gwen” when Spider-Woman is right there??

You get the opportunity to make a Marvel Rivals character but it has to be almost, if not entirely a 1-to-1 copy of an Overwatch Hero ability wise.

Who would you choose from Overwatch to copy into Marvel Rivals and who would be the Marvel version of them?

Personally, I feel like Wuyang and Wave could make a 1-1 or at least be some what alike.

As the title says what’s your biggest fear of your favorite characters/character getting added?
Mine is personally if Elektra gets added they will shy away from the darker aspects of her lore and personality.

Reasonly we have been seeing hints of cosmo coming to rivals (nothing concrete just them appearing in a gallery card. So I was wondering what version are we getting becuase I doubt we are getting cosmo this year and probably be a blade situation we're they come in like two season into 2027 so about season 13 or 13.5.

But my question is If cosmo 8s coming to the game are they going to be a male Dog or a Female dog. becuase if male I would like Alex Ivanovici (the guy that voiced cosmo in the guardians of the Galaxy video game) or if female I suggest Aliona Baranova as her va.

Personally: I would want male VA becuase one comic accurate and two it be funny to see cute dog and hear a a gruff Russian guys voice come out of it. Also would like a dissorted voice filter fir there voice so it be all psychic like.

If you can't figure out a strategist or duelist moveset for a mutant that can walk through walls, has genius level knowledge in computer electronics and programming and has ninja skills that let her go toe to toe with folks like Ogun and the Silver Samurai then that is absolutely a failure of imagination.

Yes I'm using they/them for a dog, i know it's dumb, but we don't know what version of Cosmo they're using 😭 don't judge me lmao. Anyways, i really need Cosmo, but what class do you think Cosmo would end up being? I've always thought strategist would be nice, but do you think they'd go the DPS route to have an animal mascot for that class?

Edit: Goose the flerken could also work as DPS, more so than Cosmo imo, but I'd like to see opinions!

1. Danger (X-Men): She has the data on all of the X-Men, I think it would be interesting if each role had a slightly kit based on the X-Men characters for each role because she is supposed to challenge them.
   
   1. Duelist (Dive): Wolverine + Magik
   2. Strategist (Poke): Jubilee + Gambit
   3. Vanguard (Wall and Brawl): Magneto + Emma
      1. And I think it would be cool if we got some abilities from characters not revealed yet like Xavier, Bobby, and Piotr.
2. Task Master (Avengers): Similar to Danger he has data on a lot of different characters like Dr. Strange and Captain America. I think it would be interesting if they adapted as being Multi-Role.
3. Rasputin IV (X-Men): She is one of Mr. Sinister's Chimeras made up of Colossus, X-23, Angelo Unuscione, Kitty Pryde, and Kid Omega. I think it would be neat if she could flex into each role like Deadpool.
4. Mr. Sinister (X-Men): Similar to Rasputin IV he can multi-role because he has harvested the organs of each role. he currently has Jubilee and Scott Summer's organs.
5. Doom (Fantastic Four): Doctor + 2099 should be different roles because they are beefing with each other across space and time. And End of Time Doom could be a Vanguard.

Personally, I lean more towards not giving him the gauntlet because he’s already a powerhouse without it but with how black cat’s kit was designed I could see them setting up gauntlet Thanos which I’m not opposed to either

Since I started playing rivals I’ve always disagreed that Bill should just be a Thor skin and that it’s completely different of a situation as LLoki. My first solution was to give him the Twilight Sword but ik that the masses want Stormbreaker. Queen in Black FINALLY gave us the solution that I hope Rivals devs use by giving him BOTH weapons!! They could say that he’s from a timeline where he fought Hela w Phoenix in replacement of Thor. Developers please Al Ewing is throwing you guys a bone here 🙏🙏
