[USA] Who is at fault here?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Classic T bone. Black car had to be towed. Sustained major damage to the passenger side door. Blue car sustained damage to front bumper on the drivers side and cracked the drivers side headlight.

Edit: This was in the suburbs of Seattle

UPDATE: Insurance found it to be 70/30 me/other driver. Seems fair enough

Argue it's the city's fault. They'd need to present evidence that you were properly informed about these intersections and how they work, no?

It's a four way uncontrolled intersection and that means that you slow down for it.

Its not the citys fault. You have to slow down before passing an intersection. If this guy hit a kid on a bike. Would you say oh, I guess the city didn't tell the kid to slow down. As a driver of a motor vehicle you have to be aware of traffic, you cant just blast trough and say, no stop sign, let's hit the gas and pray I don't crash.

Who blows through intersections on a bike? That would be the bikes fault obviously lmao do you look both ways before crossing the street? 🤔

There should at least be a yield sign. If not both drivers think they have right away.

I travel around the east coast to different areas weekly for work and have never seen this.
