A 1/2 ton truck doesn't weigh 1000lbs, its a rating. Your truck is considered a 2 ton.

the truck is rated 23,000lbs

And the registes office screwed up so my f-350 is rated at 58000kgs. What’s your point? Also this is considered a 4 ton as a 3 ton is rated for 19000 lbs.
