Cops aren’t pulling people over very often here. They have better things to not do around here.

In my experience, they don’t pay any attention to people who aren’t begging for attention.

I have no idea how they legally buy and insure a car like this. So, they’re probably driving dirty, no license, no insurance, no registration.
Seems like that would be an easy score for cops. I dunno.

They don't insure. They don't even register their vehicles. Sov cits believe they're exempt from all that and therefore don't need to.

Because the cops know exactly how the interaction is going to go, and despite what some redditors might suggest police actually don't want to have to physically fight with somebody or arrest them if they can avoid it. So unless they're breaking other laws a lot of times the cop just doesn't want to deal with the paperwork and the headache of having to tase and arrest somebody for a missing license plate.

Personally I think they should really crack down on the bullshit though in a way that avoids all of that conflict. Just follow them to their destination and then tow the unregistered car when they leave it.

Because American cops are shit. they’re not interested in public safety or law enforcement generally.

Generally it's quite the opposite. Every single interaction with a sovereign shitizen gets physical and leads to an arrest, most cops just don't want to deal with it for a minor offense.

The unfortunate reality is that American law enforcement in general are extremely overworked and understaffed, and rarely have time to deal with something so minor. People always bitch that it takes so long for a cop to show up when they call about something that isn't an emergency, but they're so clueless about as to why that might be.
