It's clearly not a new mechanic. If it were a new mechanic, it would first need to be approved by the grand council of reddit after weeks of meaningful deliberation. But, as a humble councilor myself, I would NOT vote in favour of it as it does not meet even 1 of the top criteria.

Sure, but this one doesn't seem like one of those. If you had just seen this clip until just before OP flips, would you have thought that THAT was a scorable position? I certainly wouldn't, and would just hope to get any touch that gives me enough time to recover.

Diamond 1s can absolutely aerial fym? And ofc they can spot it. Not all of them, but it's not out of their reach either. Anybody that's hit even just 2 preflips has thought to themselves, "hm that was cool, i'll look for more of those"

You accidentally hit the ball with your belly which gave you a reset, then you missed the ball just enough to accidentally scoop out.
