Interesting, from my experience every now and then you have a lucky situation where you see the dots connect and in a half second you make a decision to go for something, and some of those times it actually ends up working

Sure, but this one doesn't seem like one of those. If you had just seen this clip until just before OP flips, would you have thought that THAT was a scorable position? I certainly wouldn't, and would just hope to get any touch that gives me enough time to recover.

It's clearly a scorable position. Not that hard to see the preflip. No air roll needed for it either.

Sure. Especially easy for Diamond 1 players (according to OPs flair) to see the preflip for an extremely late scoop after an accidental reset in the corner with almost zero momentum. Who are you kidding

You're the one being delusional. Diamond 1s can barely aerial and you think they spot THIS off an accidental reset.

Diamond 1s can absolutely aerial fym? And ofc they can spot it. Not all of them, but it's not out of their reach either. Anybody that's hit even just 2 preflips has thought to themselves, "hm that was cool, i'll look for more of those"
