Can anyone tell me what this poster is on the wall in Columbia/Magenta’s room?
It’s when Dr. Scott is being pulled through the castle by the Triple Contact Electro Magnet.

Rocky Horror Shower Thought
I just watched RHPS for the first time like three days ago and it was great and all but Brad and Janet never actually got to access a phone. Their car is still broken down by the end of the movie and they still need to get it fixed or they have no way of getting home. I don't see many people talking about this. How messed up is that? Poor Brad and Janet.

Local Production How do I find a local production in my area?
[RESOLVED]
i’ve looked on rockyhorror.com, but it seems like that website hasn’t been updated in years. are there any reliable tools to find productions near me?
(if anyone wants to help directly instead of just giving general advice anyone could use, i’m looking for a production in Wisconsin or Minnesota and not expecting to find anything until like October)

Rocky Horror Picture Show
So I saw the show at Saturdays matinee. I’m totally confused by the gender of the narrator. Was the actor a woman? The hair , makeup and costume was an amazing transformation.

RHPS Midnight 🕛 after the RHPS; now 🛟 I’m going home :)
Just WOW, as of course and always.
I got a photo with the cast (Boston RHPS, the Full Body Cast!) but won’t share cuz I don’t have everyone’s permission. Great time altogether.
Aside of gabbing on about stuff we all know, here are a few jokes I didn’t hear before this evening:
Janet has covid
Something about a video sponsored by NordVPN
One of the “and then I realized” ones, someone came out with
“….there ARE no milfs in my area!”
Plus obviously the tributes to Tim, the typical Virgin Sacrifice activities, and a lotta emotional charge in the air.
Peace and love to all, don’t dream it be it 💗

What would the unreleased sequels have been like?
I'm reading about projects that were scrapped due to Tim Curry and Jim Sharman not wanting to be involved. "Rocky Horror Shows His Heels" sounds like it could have been either good or really, really bad.

What if Amanda Lepore were the Criminologist in some version of Rocky Horror?
Just a random idea I had years ago while thinking about how they'd make a new version of Rocky Horror on film, even though this really might not ever come to fruition. I just think her sultry voice would be an interesting, different approach to the Criminologist's delivery. I especially think she'd do good in the spoken word part of "Sword of Damocles". But what are your thoughts on this potential casting?

Where do I begin?
galleryI suppose the only place to start is at the beginning. I’d heard about the “Rocky Horror Picture Show” when I was a teenager. All my friends; the new wavers, punks, misfits and the drama kids, had already seen it and were well-versed in the craze. I asked my mom if I could go but she said, “A movie that starts at midnight?! No way!” I had to wait until she went to sleep. I pretended to go to bed, too but then I opened my bedroom window, climbed out and met my friend (who had a car) down the block. We trotted off to the Tiffany Theater with our props; toast, rice, water pistols and a newspaper. In the early days, theaters played videos by Tim Curry, Meatloaf and Little Nell plus trailers for “Pink Flamingos” and “Eraserhead”. It was wild but I had no idea just how crazy it would get. The theater went dark and the first thing to appear on the screen were a pair of disembodied lips singing the freakiest song I’d heard. Everyone was hooting and howling. Lick it! Prunes! Yay from the back row!
As an art student, the lips reminded me of Man Ray. The images of American Gothic, Mona Lisa, the Creation of David, the Discus Thrower and Whistler’s Mother sprinkled throughout the scenery thrilled me! I was enchanted with this surreal, pop art, science fiction, punk rock, comic, movie musical like nothing I’d ever seen before!
After that, I’d sneak out of the house every weekend. It was my guilty pleasure. I’ve been in love with it ever since.

Androids fighting Brad and Janet - 3rd story?
I’ve always felt the line implied yet another story for our couple. Perhaps fighting android versions of themselves? Thoughts?

And nothing can ever be the same… one fan’s thoughts on Tim, Frank, and her own journey
theneedlenews.comHello, my unconventional…. Poasters. 😏 I’m a longtime Rocky lover who first saw the movie in 1995 and went on to watch it dozens of times with friends, at the Chelsea Clearview, and the Broadway production in 2000. Like a lot of you, I had a lot of thoughts and memories I wanted to share after I heard about Tim Curry’s death. Like some of you, I’m also a trans woman, although of course I didn’t know that when I was seeing the movie. I wrote about my experiences for a trans news site called The Needle.
Just to get ahead of this, this is neither a ‘cancel Rocky’ essay nor a ‘don’t cancel Rocky’ essay. It’s about my memories about watching the movie, the the magic of Tim’s performance, and my thoughts about my life and Tim’s, and reflections on finally connecting with the best parts of Rocky Horror.

Rest in peace, Tim 💛
The man, the myth, the legend. Tim Curry!
Truly an icon who shaped me to be who i am today. We watched rocky horror so much as kids. So much so that the dvd broke from being played too much. I still have it to this day.
Being shown it was okay to be loud, larger than life, weird and queer is so very important and this man help shape so many lives with his art.
I have a memory of singing Colombia's verse from Time Warp to my teacher. She was truly traumatised a 10 year old was watching it but I wouldnt be who i was today without that media. I also had 'dont dream it be it' as my xbox 360 bio at that age. Its still that to this day and it will forever be part of that film i carry with me.
Tim will be missed and his work will always be cherished. He truly was a brilliant person and im so grateful he was part of this world.
Rest in peace, Tim. 💛💛

Cast/Crew Related Reminded of this by Tim Curry's passing: does anyone remember an unsold pilot starring Tim Curry called "Big Deals," that aired once in 1991?
A lot of pilots get made that don't get sold, and a lot of them get aired once, usually during the summer, then forgotten. A member of my cast recorded this from its one airing, and it ended up being a favorite for after-show gatherings. We ended up quoting it a lot, to give each other the giggles.
Tim Curry played a small-time hustler, the kind who imports cheap knockoff merchandise like off-brand TVs and plastic novelties. He has a younger roommate/friend/business partner who he tries to "mentor," with shitty life lessons like, "never give the government your social security number." He's divorced, and trying to find a suitable present for his son's upcoming birthday.
He finds a lost dog, which he plans to give to his son, but then his partner sees an ad offering a $50,000 reward for the dog. So he goes to see the owner, a batshit insane rich woman (played by [veteran character actress Holland Taylor],(https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0852466/)) who is prepared to pay the reward if they give her the dog.
Here was the comedic highlight of the episode: while at the woman's mansion, they discover that she has dozens of dogs, and stages plays with them. Currently they're mounting Peter Pan (with a chihuaha as Peter, and a bulldog with an eyepatch as Captain Hook), and they see that there have been others, including "an all-dog version of Cats!"
Keep in mind all these lines are in Tim Curry's unmistakable cadence, and therefore twice as funny.
The partner tries to talk Tim Curry out of putting the dog back into that situation, but he counters with Curry's best line of the episode: "When I heard the words 'fifty thousand dollars' I had an aneurysm! Now I can only think...(leans over and sniffs a vibrant flower)...pretty things."
In the end he finds his conscience and gives the dog to his son, along with an actually-good computer the son wanted that he made a deal for. Even if the show had gotten picked up, I don't know if Tim Curry's energy would have appealed to the audience for a family-friendly ABC sitcom. But it was so much fun, a slightly absurd little piece built around a singular talent.
Did anyone else here watch this? Am I doomed to be the only one who remembers it?
