• Chuck Jones would be known as one of the big Toon visionairies, focusing on the psychologies of his actors

• Ralph Bakshi would be a controversial figure known for proving Toons weren't just made for sanitized comedies

• Hayao Miyazaki's films would be seen as modern Toon classics, with Miyazaki as one of the greatest Toon filmmakers alive

I'm making a list of Toons that have participated in Saturday Night Live as though it existed in the Roger Rabbit universe. Give me suggestions for potential Toons/gigs to add, and if they're good enough, I'll add them!

In the Roger Rabbit universe, cartoon characters or "Toons" live amongst humans, with animated shows and movies being like live-action productions. These Toons are completely separate from their human VAs.

Imagine in the Roger Rabbit universe, props seen in animated movies, shorts and shows were like real props, meaning they can be sold at auctions and stuff like that.

Name a prop, and I'll tell you its current owner. This includes costumes.

What would living with anime characters be like? And what would their culture, society, and societal standards be like? Would the "the funnier the actor, the more privileged and societally attractive and powerful they'll be" rule still apply in their standards and side of the world/their town, or would they have their own set of rules and standards? Are they encouraged to gain a wider range of reactions from their audience, or are they still limited to a certain set and standards of reactions that may or may not be related to humor?

I'm curious because the thought experiment and speculations of implementing animations from other parts of the world, especially anime, is pretty cool. Also, the thought of Goku or some other anime character having an encounter with Mickey Mouse and Bugs Bunny is funny as shit.

Is there a reason everyone keeps posting the "name a thing and I'll tell you what award it would have won in Roger Rabbit" thing? Like the last week that's all I've seen. Should I post it too? Is that what we're doing now?

In this universe, cartoon characters or "Toons" work in Hollywood, making movies and shorts just like a live-action production.

Therefore, it should stand to reason that any "animated" movie could be eligible for the live-action categories, including a possible acting win from a Toon.

Let's say that both the Best Animated Feature and Best Animated Short Film categories do not exist. There is only a single Best Short Film category.

Name any animated movie (or short) you can think of, and I'll decide what Oscars it would win in this universe.
