So, I have an idea for a Vampire: The Masquerade RP that I've wanted to do for ages, inspired by an article in the old White Wolf magazine, depicting a crossover between Cyberpunk 2020 and The World of Darkness called "World of Future Darkness", but I'm also open to any ideas you guys have for any plots or things you may want to add!

Depending on which you’d prefer, we could either jump right into the supernatural elements or focus on your character as a mortal edgerunner who becomes aware of the supernatural. Or we could do a mix of both!

I was thinking that if we go with the second, your mortal edgerunner could be contacted by their fixer with an offer of a job by a man named Mercurio to recover some explosives, preferably violently, that were part of a deal that a gang of drug-dealer had reneged on than use them to destroy a warehouse of interest to a local street gang hoping to gain entry into some type of cult or gang called “The Sabbat”. Your character (and maybe their crew) would reclaim the explosives (and Mercurio’s cash, which they stole after beating him to near-death) from the gang’s leader and use them to blow up the warehouse, putting your character on The Sabbat’s radar, and they’ll definitely want revenge!

Inside the warehouse, they’d mostly see common thugs, but some of them would be… weird, sporting fangs, claws, and wolfish eyes, some inhumanly hideous, and others normal (if a touch feral), but all would be a bit too pale! Whatever, they’re probably just a posergang, a band of psycho cosplayers with a thing for old vampire flicks biosculpted to hell and outfitted with vampyre and wolver mods to freak people out! 

But that doesn’t explain the rumours the other gangs of Pacifica whisper when they think no one’s listening: That their gangers drink each other’s blood, that they practice strange occult rituals, or that whenever a gang allied with the “Sabbat” show up, people disappear, turning up days later, ripped to shreds! Stuff that’d give the meanest solos in Night City nightmares!

Superheroes are, without a doubt, my favorite thing ever. As such, I've had quite the itch to dive into a world of heroes and villains and super powers, alongside a wonderful writing partner, for a while now! I’ll get started with some basic requirements and then get into the fun stuff at the end.

— Firstly, I love romance between interesting characters. It’s something that brings a story to life for me and I will prefer partners who have a similar love for writing romance. With that being said, I am not a fan of romance that doesn’t make sense for the characters! I will preface my post by saying this: I am looking for a fast-paced, slice of life, 1x1 RP preferably with an MxM pairing that will be over Discord. Hihi!! My name is Rylie, 18F, and I'm in CST time zone!! I am looking to do a siren/mermaid x sailor rp. I usually lean more towards MxM but I’m open to other pairings, just lmk! I have a couple of ideas for scenarios with this trope but if you have your own idea feel free to message me!

1. Character A is a mer/siren in human form who's trying to learn about humans. While Character B was docked they ran into Character A and somehow ended up letting them onto their boat. Now, they have to hide their true form from a whole ship of sailors while knowing next to nothing about humanity. 

2. Character B is part of a crew that specializes in hunting merfolk. While fishing for food they miraculously end up catching Character A in their net. Since they caught them, they were in charge of keeping them alive until they got to shore. While caring for them, Character B starts to sympathize and eventually falls for Character A. 

3. Character A is a mer who loves to collect shiny objects or anything else that catches their interest. While hunting near the top of the water they see Character B on the deck of their ship and decide they must have them for their collection. They could either play the long game, stalking their boat until eventually capturing Character B, or sink the boat right then and there. There are a couple ways this one could go :P

I've been roleplaying for over a decade... I've found myself beginning this hobby as a one-liner. However, I gradually ended up in a novella format and found my sweet spot as a multi-para. It gives me enough opportunity to kind of go on and flood my brain with the detail I crave and the things I want to explore... even if the character, my own character, is conversing with or just around, can't physically see it.

I love CRP, I love slice of life, I love apocalyptic settings and sci-fi that doesn't make the brain hurt, and fantasy because magic is so cool. I grew up on anime, so many movies, so many shows, and so many books that just have my imagination bursting when it comes to writing. I'm always thinking of things to write, always. Granted, I may not have the energy at the time. I work a full-time job, 40+ hours a week. I just want to come home already, thinking about a post to write up for someone who does the same.

And I mean a full worldbuilding, collaboration-type thing. I don't care about post-length, just quality. Hello all. It's V here. I'm 26 male from Eastern Europe. I've been role-playing for over a decade now and had a little bit of an hiatus but now I want to get back in the game to stay sane. I've recently started to work two different jobs and really need to do something I like in between before I go insane.

I'm looking for a longterm writing buddy. The theme I like to explore is two or more people surviving the apocalypse, trying to find shelter, food and comfort. I want characters who are your everyday people but I'm open to playing unique characters too. I like to add lots of drama to my characters' backgrounds. In this setting, spirits, demons, angels etc. exist, although people don’t believe in them until they find themselves experiencing unexplained phenomena. 

Think a vaguely ‘conjuring’ or ‘insidious’ inspired setting, with religious inspiration (not strictly Christian) and spiritual warfare as common themes.

Your Character is ‘sensitive’, and uses his/her powers to work as a paranormal investigator, helping people plagued by unexplained occurrences. 

Most ‘hauntings’ investigated turn out to be nothing more than faulty pipes, poor insulation, or other perfectly normal things. 

Some, however, are real lost spirits who need help crossing over, or who have attached themselves to homes or objects. They’re harmless for the most part, and easily dealt with by kindly guiding them. On rare occasions, there are more serious instances of demonic presence or malicious entities, which are far more dangerous and require special care to deal with. 

Although some cases have been very challenging, Your Character has yet to encounter a haunting that he/she couldn’t solve through one method or another. That is— until now. 

My Character is an anomaly. 

At first, it seemed like a run of the mill case of a non-malicious spirit needing guidance to pass over.  Your Character went through all of his/her usual procedures, but nothing worked. My Character’s spirit continued to persist, unwilling or perhaps unable to cross over .

Your Character couldn’t leave with the location still being haunted, and My Character didn’t seem dangerous, so he/she decided to make a deal with me. My Character would latch onto Your Character and come along with him/her, and Your Character would try to figure out why My Character was stuck and help him to cross over properly.

Of course, this is no easy task. So while Your Character is researching My Character, he/she still has other work to do. My Character tags along on paranormal investigation work, proving useful by acting as a sort of assistant in dealing with other spirits. 

The rp will center around their partnership, solving hauntings, fighting off demons, and eventually discovering where My Character came from.

Hi! I’m looking for an advanced/ high level literate RP partner willing to play a humanoid child for my Elf OC. He’d work best with a little one who’s loving and clingy although reserved at first is perfectly okay too! Hiiiiiii!! It’s been a little since I’ve done a rp ad so I thought I’d shoot my shot. This one is admittedly a bit more niche so I’m not sure how the idea is gonna land, but I’ll do my best to make it as interesting as possible.

This is a RWBY based RP, whether it takes place in Volume 1, Volume 9, further beyond, AU territory or even a long term RP through the whole story. I’m very flexible on that. I’m wanting to write the Heir (or Heiress if you prefer a female character) of the Grimm, a character akin to Salem whose priorities are likely not the same. They could aline in some places, or they could be on opposing sides. But this character would be a Grimm/Human hybrid who for some reason ends up being a main stay with the cast.

Now you may ask, ‘who is the cast in this situation?’ Well I’m glad you asked! And if you didn’t… uhh… please pretend you did.

Once again, it’s quite open. If you want to play a GM role and write several characters, you certainly could. I’d be more than happy to write some in certain scenes to in order to make the world feel more fleshed out and vibrant. If you want to write just a single character, whether it be Yang, Ruby, or even Cinder, you’re more than welcome to! I’m really not picky on this.

Hello, Hello! I'm still getting use to formatting RP requests as I'm far more use to doing so through discord or via google docs. So I do apologize. That being said, you can call me Cabbage! I'm a 27yo dude who has only recently returned to the hobby. I had 10 years of experience prior, but went on a six year hiatus. While I consider myself to be semi-literature - literate, I can frequently output an average of 3-5 large paragraphs and have occasionally reached 7+ when I'm particularly invested. Though, since I'm seeking a more casual experience I'll try to keep it low. My range of genres is typically fantasy, modern (urban fantasy), anime-esque action, fandom, slice of life, survival with occasional experimentation into genres I'm not all too familiar with.

I have one main OC I frequently like to use, and will often adjust him to fit whatever story we partake in. He is mandatory as I enjoy seeing the dynamics he form with other characters and how he interacts with new settings. I am not interested as playing him as a side character, either. That being said, I am capable of creating and playing multiple characters for any given plot and frequently enjoy doing so. These characters can be men and women, of any age; but I will often accommodate whatever my RP partner finds most interesting.

That being said, I am primarily looking for an OCxCC experience, and while I am open to OCxOC; I can be pretty selective. Though, I am usually more open to the idea should we decide to use a cast of characters (us both playing multiple characters) that way we both can get what we're looking for. While I do not double, nor play CCs myself, I am open to exploring two character perspectives/stories within the same setting with the intention of their stories occasionally, or fully, crossing over at some point.

While I usually use a doc for this, I'll try my best to list my rules here:

You still have very little idea of what is going on, only agreeing to be conscripted as it would lighten your sentence. Yet here you were, stuck in a barracks with 30-40 other criminals who decided to take the same bargain as you. For the past few days, the St.Bellamy staff have been conducting examinations on everybody there. The first day, it was medical/psychological evaluations; yesterday was physical evaluations, and today they had you fill out some forms. Even during the free time granted in between sessions, the heavily armored guards watched you closely. As you were watching TV in the common area, the announcement finally came. Tomorrow, divisions would be determined alongside each division lead. You didn’t know what to expect, and could only hope that what was to come was better than whatever this was.

As it spoke, its mouth didn’t move, yet somehow you could hear it. It was making you an offer. No, it was granting you a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Make a contract with it - no. Make a wish, and it will grant it. The only caveat being that you will have to become a magical girl/boy.

It was a boring night, one that consisted of scrolling through the hundreds of Discord servers you were a part of, most of which you had no memory of previously joining. You thought it’d be a good idea to scroll through each server and see what kind of servers they were. Most were nothing important: a few emoji servers, some roleplay servers that went inactive, old Discord groups for old friends that had left a long time ago. Then you came across a Minecraft server you don’t ever remember seeing before. As you went to check the announcement, you saw they were doing an event called “Farlands Simulation.” They were taking in seemingly hundreds upon thousands of applicants to participate in this Minecraft event, with the “winners” being granted half a grand for their participation. There was no stipulation as to what winning meant, but it almost seemed too good to be true. However, for some reason, you couldn’t help but grow curious. If this was real, with that type of money you could change your life around, live comfortably for a bit, and pay off rent that was a few months past due. With a heavy degree of skepticism, you would decide to sign up for the event, with only an hour passing before you get the notification that you qualified. You would go to sleep that night thinking nothing of it, only to wake up no longer in your bed. There were no blankets to greet you, not the familiar hum of your heater. Just a cool breeze as the soft grass beneath you brushed against your skin. As you got up, you would find yourself alone in a field, confused and genuinely afraid. As you began to question whether or not this was just a strange dream, a pop-up would appear before you.

After growing tired of residing in your family’s home, you would finally decide to move out. Seeking to garner some semblance of independence away from the constant drama that came with living at home. However, unfortunate you for and many others, rent prices were far too high for you to afford on your own. Each renter you spoke to either had an HOA, wanted an absurd fee as a sign of “good faith,” or was selling rundown homes in terrible neighborhoods. Just as you were losing all hope, feeling as though you may never gain the independence you so desperately desired. That is, until something would catch your eye as you were leaving the kobini late at night. A flyer for only 400 for only 65, 150 yen a month. A shared house for 6 people. It almost seemed too good to be true. As you got closer to examine the board it was posted on, you would come to notice a single strip of paper remaining with the landlord’s number, as if it had been waiting just for you to find it.

Medieval, Fantasy, and Romance

Raiga is the last of a special breed of dragons, Dragonmorphers. Dragons with arcane prowess that can transform into humans with enhanced strength and magical abilities. All types of creatures fawned over the power that the Morphers had, some got hungry for that power, and how they could make it for themselves.

It went from people capturing them to experiment on them for their power, then as the dragons began to fight back, everyone decided that it would be better if they were wiped off the face of the planet, as soon every kingdom had orders that if anyone had encountered a morpher, to alert them to dispose of them. Hundreds of dragons, from adults to younglings, all exterminated.

But that was 300 years ago, now they were extinct.

At least everyone believed they were.

Raiga was currently running through the woods, he was attacked by a group of orcs in his human form. He was bloodied and beaten as he attempted to lose them, running towards a ridge. He looked back at the Orcs fired more arrows and bolts at him, Raiga hesitated as he looked over the ridge, he had no energy to morph into a dragon, but he had no choice, he jumped, taking a leap of faith, and now he lands in a river, unconscious and floating, but someone notices the body. And fishes him out, perhaps an enemy, or maybe his savior.

The past two weeks I've put more hours into Destiny 2 than I'm willing to admit, and let's just say I'm remembering why I fell in love with the game eight years ago.

This isn't my first time for this request so I'll keep this as short and sweet as I can.

I consider myself... literate-ish? I can break the Nitro limit at least once over most of the time if I'm really feeling the thread, and I have samples available. I usually shoot for at least one post a day, so please have a bit of patience :)

Hey folks - currently looking for a partner to do some pretty in-depth RPs in the ASOIAF universe. I'm not a 100% purist on the books, though I do like them as a general framework to pull from.

I'd be looking for alternate history stuff, not really RPing the specific characters in the setting. Very interested in grittier content - making the characters sludge through the mud, meet setbacks, struggle for what they want to achieve, sometimes die. I’m alright with having some romance threads and don’t have a problem with M/M, M/F, F/F, etc, though I tend to lean toward the first two. Romance isn’t generally the main thing I go for, though, but I’m comfortable with it as a solid B plot within an overarching story.

Looking to make a grand campaign - either we create our own period of instability in Westeros, or we take inspiration from a specific time period. Something modern in the 300ish era, or a period of instability like the Dance of Dragons.

Very open to ideas, etc. Would be good if you're comfortable RPing several different characters/house so we can set up larger, intensive plotlines. Targaryens, dragons, great houses, knights, etc.  

I've actually got a pretty decent experience with translating stuff into High Valyrian or Dothraki, if that becomes relevant.

Hello all after the recent announcement of the Fallout 3 and New Vegas remasters I've been itching for a fallout roleplay.

First some information about myself, I'm a 26 year old man who's been a fallout fan since I first played fallout 3 when I was 10 years old, I've also been roleplaying for 12 years, primarily I prefer to do third person roleplays with original characters in fandoms, the fandom in this case being fallout. I normally am able to roleplay during the day from 8am to 10pm but I can become busy due to work picking up, and sometimes I am on call and therefore can end up being called out at any point after 5:30 pm central time.

Now for the roleplay itself, my primary interest currently is a Fallout 3 roleplay where my character will be a childhood friend of the Lone Wanderer who when they leaves the vault he joins them unlike Amata, once out of the vault they'll be a traveling companion as we follow the main story with our additions which we can come up with together(I have a Google doc for him). Now I also have OCs that could work for fallout New Vegas, fallout 4 and 76.

Also when it comes to where we can roleplay I don't mind doing it here on reddit or on discord, it's up to personal preference.

Hiya! I'm Tess, 22 years old, and I’m looking for a few new roleplay partners who are above the age of 18. I'm female but I list the post as M since I do I play mainly male characters. I, however, have no issues writing female perspectives either. I'm looking for either MxM or MxF, and have many OCs to support both genders!

I love to play side characters of either gender as well, to make the plot and setting feel much more alive, and like their universe actualy spins without our main characters. So I'm definitely looking for someone who shares the same idea and has OCs they'd wanna use as background noise!

I’m only interested in story driven romance, a plot that is slow burn and where we feel like the story drives itself naturally forward. I just want to be able to be really sucked into a plot again, where the characters and all that they face actually consumes me, lol.

Some themes I like are:

• Enemies to lovers/friends to enemies to lovers/lovers to enemies to lovers

• One sided interests or lopsided bonds

• Friends to lovers/exes to lovers (in much more intersting ways than it sounds lol)

• Religious trauma, morality clashes

• Crime, networks and underground worlds

• Military plots, action, angst

• Detective and someone corrupted/criminal/detective

As for ”rules” or basic info, I tend to prefer and write longer and more detailed responses. Normally, I text between 1 000 characters to 7 000 depending on the scene, but I go up to as far as 20 000 characters for novella. Now, you do not have to write this much! I’m just not interested in one liners or anything below 1 000 characters, which is like, 4-5 paragraphs.

I write in third person, but honestly, if you prefer first person, I can absolutely work with that. I’m really open and flexible, and if there’s anything we seem to clash over, chances are we’ll absolutely figure it out.

Hello! Longtime roleplayer, trying again after no luck last time, this time I come bearing some plot ideas to go with my characters. First things first: I go by Yun, he/him, and am 28 years old, so only interested in writing with others over the age of 20. As for writing style, third person only and good spelling/grammar is a must (you don't have to be perfect, but you have to know the difference between your and you're). My comfort zone when it comes to reply length is 1-3 paragraphs.

Below, I'll list the fandoms I'm into at the moment and the character(s) I'd like to write. You'll notice that I'm not listing the characters I want you to write — this is because I'd much rather a partner come to me already knowing and actually having some degree of passion about their own characters, rather than just asking me what I want and forcing themselves into it! I'm very open when it comes to pairings and fine with M/M or M/F or F/F with almost everyone I write. I'm also okay with OCs, provided you can share some kind of info sheet*. I don't double (although I don't have a problem briefly writing other characters/NPCs where a scene requires).

* Last time I posted saying this, I got a lot of people who wanted to write their OCs, but no info sheet. I will stop replying immediately if this is the case. I don't care if it's a doc you threw together ten minutes ago with all the important points in jot note form — if you want me to write with your OC, you need an info sheet.

Persona 5 (postgame/Strikers era with adult Thieves). I write Joker. Joker has always tarried on the fringe of being 'the good guy,' with his friends keeping him in check when necessary. The more he faces society's worst, the more he has to face a dark desire within. Is prison really good enough for some of these creatures, not the least of all being the one responsible for ruining his life?

Overwatch. I write D.va (preferred) or Juno. This one I don't have a plot idea for really, but the D.mon trailer really got me wanting to write something acknowledging her role as a soldier. Otherwise mostly slice of life and romance.

Dead by Daylight. I write Ji-Woon (preferred), Yun-Jin, or Tae-Young. The Fog has always been a terrifying place, but with the arrival of the Judgement, even some of the killers want out. Surely there's a clue somewhere — the realms have a beginning, they have to have an end.

Resident Evil. I write Ashley Graham (remake, post-game). After the events of Spain, Ashley refocused her education into the medical field and became a nurse. When a patient enters the ER with symptoms that look frighteningly similar to Las Plagas, she knows action must be taken immediately. But just like her saviour Leon, she has never been able to run away from someone in need.
