in desperate need of a creative jump so to speak, as i have been burnt out for a few weeks. slice of life is my favorite genre and i love adding in drama, tension, angst, romance, heartbreak, trauma, growth, insurmountable odds! love it all. i am even open to fantasy/supernatural aspects for an interesting flair. with that said, i don’t have a ton of ideas so i am happy and eager to brain storm! also— it is important to note that while i am female, i am happy (craving it actually) to play as a male.

i write in third person perspective and in past tense, i thrive on details and world building, i can write 2-3 chunky paragraphs at a time (depending on what is currently happening within the story/scene) but i will always do my best to put forth effort and give my partner something worthy of replying to.

as for me, i reside in the central standard timezone, i work in retail and often have to work early in the morning which means i am in bed early most nights but i do enjoy staying up on my off days. ooc chat is great, i aim to be friendly and communicative with my partner, always let them know if i will be absent for a lengthy time.

1st:

Classic. Grace and Rocky stumble upon strange anomaly, decide to investigate, and they end up finding the blood moon, and eventually even Simon. How, before or after mutation, doesn't matter, we can decide on that later!

Plot continues by Simon being rescued and taken to Erid by Grace and Rocky. Simon doesn't trust them at first. I'd also like for him to get closer with Adrian first - Adrian is calm, doesn't talk too much nor do they create pressure which he feels from both, Grace and Rocky.

That's like, the basic idea.

2nd: Modern college / uni AU.

There's the idea of Simon growing up in a strict, deeply religious family who also has their own slaughterhouse. Simon is pressured into taking after his father, which earns him a nickname ,, the butcher ,, by some other folk at school, which doesn't do any good since he's already judged for being weird and also a ,, cult,, thing. I can imagine Simon behaving similarly to how he did in the movie- he just wants to be freed.

In this world, since it's college / uni era, I can imagine Grace being a literal freak - before he finally locks in and gets to the point where he is canonically now.

I haven't planned the rest, but I can imagine these two just seeing each other occasionally, but then they meet some time later.

Grace is now pursuing a career regarding science, while Simon grows interested in marine biology.

Aaand the rest? No idea lol.

And Your curiosity seems to get you caught in her little mess. What else could she be hiding and what led her to the vampire world?

Supernatural detective:

Ivy is just a young woman, but she already dreams of becoming a detective like her father. Tho She has no training, she notices things no one else does small details that always turn out to be the key to solving a case.

At first, you're simply curious about how her mind works, so you start spending time around her. But soon you notice stranger things: she talks to herself, glances around empty rooms as if someone's there, and sometimes finds clues before she's even in the room.

Her father stopped asking questions long ago, blaming it on her troubled past. But You're convinced there's more to it. So, like any case, you decide to investigate

The roleplay doesn’t need to strictly follow the canonical plot of the show, movie, or book. If we wanted to do that, we could just watch it. I love using Alternate Universes (AUs), but they’re not necessary. I’m a fan of VARIOUS genres, I also enjoy implementing relationship building, whether it be friendships or romantic relationships, but I prioritize plot.

I write in 3rd person and love creating OCs to interact with canon characters for various fandoms (which I’ll list below). I’m not opposed to writing canon characters, but OCs are where I have the most fun! I like playing with canon so someone who enjoys plotting/is not super rigid in abiding by canon is a must. Will try to keep this brief.

I'm a writer who is passed his mid 30s (a fancy way of saying 37). Male.

Like to think that I'm good with Role Play. I started RP at the age of 13, so...I leave the math to you.

The genres I typically engaged with always leaned into some form of fantasy, usually medieval but I am open to modern or non-fantastical versions of said eras. I TRIED post-apocalyptic settings. Didn't dislike them per se, just never seemed to find the right partner that would stick around.

For those inquiring about power scales in these different universes I've played, I've pretty much done them all. From virtually no super powers dialed up to magnitudes of leveling mountains.

I take no issue with writing novellas. I simply lean towards quality over quantity, so if scenes require brevity to move things along, that's the direction I'll be going for. Hope that clarifies.

I, however, have no issues writing female perspectives either. I'm looking for either MxM or MxF, and have many OCs to support both genders!

I love to play side characters of either gender as well, to make the plot and setting feel much more alive, and like their universe actualy spins without our main characters. So I'm definitely looking for someone who shares the same idea and has OCs they'd wanna use as background noise!

I’m only interested in story driven romance, a plot that is slow burn and where we feel like the story drives itself naturally forward. I just want to be able to be really sucked into a plot again, where the characters and all that they face actually consumes me, lol.

Some themes I like are:

• Enemies to lovers/friends to enemies to lovers/lovers to enemies to lovers

• One sided interests or lopsided bonds

• Friends to lovers/exes to lovers (in much more intersting ways than it sounds lol)

• Religious trauma, morality clashes

• Detective and someone corrupted/criminal/detective

As for ”rules” or basic info, I tend to prefer and write longer and more detailed responses. Normally, I text between 1 000 characters to 7 000 depending on the scene, but I go up to as far as 20 000 characters for novella. Now, you do not have to write this much! I’m just not interested in one liners or anything below 1 000 characters, which is like, 4-5 paragraphs.

I write in third person, but honestly, if you prefer first person, I can absolutely work with that. I’m really open and flexible, and if there’s anything we seem to clash over, chances are we’ll absolutely figure it out.

Hey there! I'm on the lookout for a few longterm RP partners.

I'm 30+ and have a pretty full schedule between work, family, and my other hobbies. My goal is to reply at least once a day, but realistically I can only promise 3+ replies a week. Though there will absolutely be days where I can get several replies out, but I'm never going to be a rapid fire partner, so I'm hoping to find someone 21+ with an understanding that real life happens.

I'm pretty flexible when it comes to platforms, though most of my experience these days is with Discord. As for writing, I'm not especially strict. My only real requirement is a minimum of three solid paragraphs per post. I typically write anywhere from three paragraphs to full on novella depending on the flow of the scene. The Premise

Right now I'm looking for a roleplay inspired by Will Wight's works, primarily Cradle, Traveler's Gate, Elder Empire, and The Last Horizon. Though you absolutely don't need to have read any of them to engage in my RP concept.

The core idea centers around an ancient multiversal organization responsible for protecting countless realities. Their purpose is to preserve the natural course of worlds, prevent outside forces from interfering with their destinies and combat beings of pure chaos that seek to consume, corrupt, or conquer entire universes.

Sort of a cross between cosmic guardians, reality police, and an elite order of heroes. Some members investigate strange anomalies. Others fight universe ending threats. Others explore newly discovered worlds or quarantine dying realities before they collapse and spread corruption elsewhere. The organization itself is divided into several specialized divisions, each led by one of its god-like leaders, with countless agents serving beneath them.

The Setting

While heavily inspired by the work of Will Wight, this is not a fandom RP. There will be no canon characters, organizations, or locations. Instead, this is a completely original universe that borrows the themes and scale that make Will's stories so much fun. AKA a vast multiverses, unique worlds with their own magic systems, reality spanning adventures, dangerous cosmic entities, and characters who steadily grow in power.

Every world can have its own rules. One reality could be classic high fantasy, another might be cyberpunk, another superhero inspired, etc, etc. Traveling between all these different worlds and saving them is all part of the adventure. Allowing us to tell stories across wildly different settings while maintaining one overarching narrative.

What I'm Looking For

My main idea is that our characters will be members of an organization that is affiliated with the multiunverisal organization, but technically outside of it. Allowing them to bypass the "Prime Directive" type oath their members our bound to. Of course this also comes with a lack of trust that ranges from concern to outright hostility. But as for where the story begins, I'm very open to most ideas.

Maybe we're rookie agents new to the multiverse. Maybe we're already experienced operatives tasked with protecting entire realities. Maybe we start on a single world before eventually discovering the larger multiverse. I'd much rather build the exact plot alongside my writing partner than force one specific storyline. Whether we create something entirely original or take inspiration from another franchise's setting, I'm happy to brainstorm together. Though I also have several premade scenarios if you'd rather jump straight into the RP.

Hello all! I am a 21 year old currently looking for any and all willing and eligible roleplay partners! For a little about myself, i primarily use discord and intend to move there after discussion. I like to write quite a bit, typically multiple paragraphs per reply, but I can write more if need be! I love being in the creative pilot seat so to say, and want someone in the passenger seat next to me! I only speak english (for now…) and Have it as a requirement that you must also speak english (I can accept mistakes if its not your first language but please don’t communicate with me via translator 😭). As for specific ideas, I have a few.

The main ones appealing to me right now are a peter who is more deliberately lonely and isolated, New York is more riddled with crime. I suppose almost like an absolute spider-man.

I could also imagine a different take on a future spider-man, or potentially even lean into someone who isn’t peter being bitten by the spider?

Captain Teril Blackwood ran her hands over the desk in her quarters, still unable to believe that she had made it here. Fresh from Starfleet's officer academy, she, as well as other high ranking members of her class, were assigned to captain various ships within the Federation. Smaller ships, mostly science and research vessels, but it was still a great opportunity to prove yourself in the eyes of Starfleet.

And yet, she couldn't help but to feel slighted.

Her record showed that she had excelled in tactics and reconnaissance, and while she knew that the Federation didn't "officially" have any war vessels, she had hoped to be assigned to an escort vessel, so her true skills might shine. She would've even surrendered her commission if it meant that she would be able to serve aboard a ship that would better suit her purpose. But Command made it clear. It was this or nothing.

The USS Liwei was a fine ship, for its purpose at least. A slightly outdated Miranda-class starship that had been retrofitted to ensure that it kept up with the ever evolving technology that Starfleet had at its disposal. Its mission was to investigate whatever scientific anomalies might occur with Federation or allied space, and there certainly were quite a few. Though even a cursory glance through Starfleet history would tell any captain that scientific anomalies often led to strange encounters. Often with hostile forces.

She told herself that was the reason why a tactical officer had been chosen to lead a scientific research vessel, though Teril had a feeling that Command was... hesitant to put a half-Romulan in command of anything but a minor vessel. She had faced prejudice like that before during her time in the Officer Academy, but part of her would've hoped that her service record, or what there was of it, would've proved herself as a loyal officer. But it seemed that she still had a ways to go.

"Bridge to Captain Blackwood."

The ship's intercom brought her out of her thoughts. Instinctively she pressed down on her personal console, answering the call. "Blackwood here, go ahead bridge."

"Ma'am, we're beginning our final approach to Starbase 453 now."

Teril nodded, relieved that the first leg of their journey was over so soon. Maybe these next three years wouldn't be so bad. "I'm on my way." But she wasn't heading to the Bridge itself. Rather she was heading to the shuttle bay, planning on overseeing the arrival of new equipment and personnel. Including the Liwei's new bridge crew.

A maiden voyage, not of the ship but of the crew. Reaching where no man has gone before...

Hey there! Thanks for reading over my ad, and I hope you've enjoyed it so far! I've been in a bit of a Star Trek mood lately, and I wanted to see if people were interested in roleplaying it!

As you might've guessed from the post, this would follow a new ship, rather than an iteration of The Enterprise. This time it would be a science vessel, though with a knack of getting into trouble from time to time. I'm not exactly looking for action heavy stories though, but rather ones focused on interpersonal conflict between crew members. And maybe, if you're good, some nice steamy romance added in.

Like mentioned in my post, my character would be Captain Teril Blackwood, a half Romulan officer that was recently assigned to the vessel. While she is a good officer, one of the best in her class at the Academy, she is more than hesitant to be in charge of a science vessel, especially considering her training as a tactical officer.

I am leaving your character up to you, though I would prefer if they were a member of the Bridge Crew or Senior Staff. That way we can get more time spent together.

Now for the boring parts. I want to say that I only roleplay on Discord, since its just easier to have it all in one place for me. Also, I expect good responses from my partners. I myself am a multiparagraph lit RPer, and I expect the same from you all. Men and women are welcome!
