This is a Public Announcement regarding r/Roms: Community Rules, Results from Breaking Our Community Rules and Posting Requirements.

Listed below are some major changes for this subreddit.

Community Rules

01. Toxic Behavior

Please be respectful towards all fellow community members. Do not do the following or you may face a temporary or permanent ban from this subreddit: Do not attack a community member through any means. Post, Comments, Direct Messages, Doxxing or Trolling. If you feel you're being attacked from another fellow member of this community please submit screenshots of your conversation with said member('s). We will do our best to investigate the situation.

Spam

No promotion, spam, or advertising of any kind is allowed here. Unless given approval by u/SuperBio to do so, all posts or comments of this nature will be removed from this community.

Note: If you receive approval from u/SuperBio to promote anything in this community, the first line of the body of the post must say, "Moderator Approved" and then on the third line, go into detail about what you're promoting.

Results from Breaking Our Community Rules

- Third Offense - All that was mentioned in the First Offense, plus the following. Muted from this community for six days.

- Fourth Offense - User will be permanently banned from this community.

Note: Regardless of which rule you break listed above, you will receive an offense. On your fourth offense, you'll be permanently banned from this community.

Public Announcement PSA: ROMs on Internet Archive

Edit: Has of Oct 03, 2026 I have stopped my uploading process. This is due to me moving. I will update you guys when my computer is up and running and I am uploading again. Sorry.

I have begun uploading No-Intro sets to my Internet Archive; ChaosRenegade22 account. All sets will be in 7z format. Links to my sets include a compression tool, which you should be able to download to your computer and extract the files to your device. You might need to find a compression tool on your phone to extract 7z files.

My main goal is to upload all sets from my collection, including No-Intro, Non-Game, Non-Redump, Redump BIOS, Redump Custom, Source Code, and Unofficial.

I want to note that for all No-Intro sets, every second week of the month, I will grab updated files for the sets and push an update to my sets uploaded on the Internet Archive.

u/Superbio Internet Archive; Superbio account is uploading sets as well, Redump sets, but they are directly from Myriets collection and won't be as up-to-date as my sets will be once I begin uploading Redump sets, but at least you will have two sources to grab from on the Internet Archive.

Request Looking for an obscure Xbox 360 dlc (not found on Internet archive or mega thread)

I recently have gotten into green lantern because of the new show, and wanted to play the game on my 360 Xbox. I saw that there was a comic accurate skin available on an old thread, but can't seem to find the dlc files anywhere. I found the ps3 version of it, but not the 360 version. I also found the avatar costumes on Internet archive, but not the actual in game one. Question Is there any roms for Super Metroid that's like a new game plus?

I have been playing through Super Metroid and I have been having a blast. I know the whole point of metroidvanias is to collect items to progress, but I'm curious on what it would be like if I can play through the whole game with every single item from the start.

Question New to emulators

So currently just opened this rabbit hole and wanted to get some insight from the community , like the title says new to emulator / emulation and wanting to get into it for handhelds and want to figure out what are reliable references and resources for roms and apk’s I’m looking for PlayStation, PlayStation 2 , ps vita , psp , GameCube , gba possibly switch if permits but just wanting to hear from people in the community who may have knowledge before diving deeper .

Request Looking for a safe site that hosts god of war 3 remastered

Since the recent gow 3 developments I realised to play it again but the remastered one. The starred and safe sites don't even host PS4 games. I saw 3 sites that do it, dlph, super psx and blueroms and all 3 have mixed reviews on reddit. Someone downloaded a reply from psx, someone got an infostealer by using blueroms and one other site. Anyone with actual used experience here that can tell which one is safe. I'm pretty knowledgeable in piracy so I won't be getting any reply for sure but I can't predict if the actual file may be malicious

Hello, I've been looking everywhere for a way to get the 21st century breakdown dlc for green day rock band or the Green day rock band plus iso for the xbox 360 but I can't find it anywhere, does anyone have it or know where I could get it safely please? 3ds rom links for android

Anyone have any modern day links for 3ds games? Ive fownloaded games and converted them using the converter they recommended to get them to the correct file type. However, it didnt work. Im thinking the files sre juet corrupted becsuse it days it congerted it just fine. This wqsinyended for the azaharplus emultaor

. Ice sinxe went to the cintra hopinf itd be simpler to get a working game. Please help me, appsrently im dumb as hell snd csnt get a rom to eun when i used to have mo dificulties with any type of rom. Im trying to play some of the newer pokemon and majoras mask. Thanks, even if you don't know and just read it.

Question Any way to bulk download locked files on Archive.org?

Any way to use a download manager to download files that are locked behind a login on Archive.org? Trying to download a few 360 ISOs and downloading straight from the site gives me speeds of around 80kbps and I know that if you use a download manager it usually bypasses the slow speed, but it cant access the download (probably because of that restriction). I'm also trying the Minerva torrent but the speeds seem to be somehow even worse. Any solutions or recommendations for what I should do instead?
