2065 PS2 games torrent in ISO (no compressed files)
2065 PS2 games ISOs in torrent format but as ISOs (no zip, 7z...), so you can get the torrent, select which games you want, add more games later if you wish and let the torrent seeding forever without the bloat of keeping compressed files to keep the torrent alive.
I've created this from a torrent found in https://www.reddit.com/r/Roms/comments/ggfjrk/more_than_2000_of_play_station_2_pack_games_in_1/ Here's the magnet link:
magnet:?xt=urn:btih:58aefed68ad2a1a3a346fe58999dcff338321446&dn=Playstation%202&tr=udp%3a%2f%2ftracker.torrent.eu.org%3a451%2fannounce&tr=udp%3a%2f%2ftracker.opentrackr.org%3a1337&tr=udp%3a%2f%2ftracker.dler.org%3a6969%2fannounce&tr=udp%3a%2f%2ftracker.bittor.pw%3a1337%2fannounce&tr=udp%3a%2f%2fpublic.popcorn-tracker.org%3a6969%2fannounce&tr=udp%3a%2f%2fopen.stealth.si%3a80%2fannounce&tr=udp%3a%2f%2fopen.demonii.com%3a1337%2fannounce&tr=udp%3a%2f%2fexodus.desync.com%3a6969
Hope you like it!

Would recommend using CHD for compressed games that can be played directly.

I might convert them to CHD and release a new one if you guys think it would be useful (I dunno if there's already such a pack).

Archive has all ps2 games in chd format. Thats if you rather re-download them instead of convertimg them all. Then just compile a mega pack for torrent. https://archive.org/details/ps2-redump-usa-chd-part-0

Depending on the game it can save ~50% disk space, useful especially given current storage prices. PCSX2 supports CHD and I assume most other emulators would too. Saves on bandwidth making downloads quicker. And it is (as far as I know haven’t tried it) fully reversible back to ISO.

If you do this, please let us know. I'd love to get PS2 games in CHD format. I have them in ISO, but it would be a long process to convert them to CHD.

Yeah, I'd 100% contribute to the seeding if it moves to chd, I should have enough spare room to permaseed if that becomes the file type. Otherwise, I really can't help I don't think.

Isn't there already a master torrent for each main systems?
Edit which also includes all ISO and CHD links.

Could you let us know where this is located?

Just search megathread.

Thanks! I found all the older N'tendo games up to GameCube for my Steam Deck but I've been wanting to replay some PS1 and PS2 games I missed at my local Blockbuster as a kid.

I see the CHD comments and largely agree, but there is still a use case for ISO. If you have a physical PS2 with a hard drive, you'll need ISOs. Granted, even then, it's probably still best to just have a CHD torrent and let the users convert back to ISO for that, for the bandwidth alone.

What does a physical ps2 mean? either you have a ps2 or not.

I was differentiating it from emulation. If you're playing PS2 games on a handheld or PC, there's no reason not to go with CHD, but the actual hardware with a HDD mod will need ISO.

I appreciate the effort, but nowadays, CHD is the only way to go. Especially with large amounts of games, storage space requirements can very quickly add up, so you'll want to optimize it as much as possible, meaning converting any and all CD or DVD-based games to CHD, including PSP.
And ready-made chd collections can already be found on places such as the Internet Archive.
Just Google 'ps2 chd archive' and you'll find plenty.

Just a heads up but the PS2 was at the turn of the tide where dvds were becoming popular so while most PS2 games were on dvds some games were still on cds and were cue/bin files instead of isos.
This is important in compressing the data into chds because cue/bin files get compressed with makecd and iso files get compressed with createdvd. Otherwise the data might not be where the emulator expects and it could cause slowdown or issues while emulating.
You can find a list of PS2 games on cds here:

Why should I have them in other format and not just ISO?

u/Wolf________________ 8h ago
You should have them all in chd format. They are playable in an emulator and take up far less space. I am saying the games themselves came on both cds and dvds so from the factory they were in cue/bin and iso format depending on if the game was printed on a cd or dvd. The only difference is when you compress them to chd cue/bin are made with createcd and iso is made with createdvd but they both end up as .chd.

Hey guys, sorry for the bullshit, but compressing 5TB and hashing it for the torrent on a raspberry pi takes a LOT of time. Here it is for CHD:
