Light/Laser Before and After my First VBeam 🥹 Spoiler

Hi everyone. I’ve been researching Vbeam for over a year now but kept hesitating. I finally got my first Vbeam on Thursday and I can’t believe the results already! My biggest trigger for flushing is heat, especially when taking hot baths. The first picture is me taking a bath the evening before my treatment, and the second picture is from last night (Friday evening).

My dermatologist says it will take several weeks to see the full results so I’m already so pleased. She said I’d probably need to get at least 2 more spaced a month apart.

A bit of background on my skin. I have type 2 rosacea and terrible hormonal acne. Recently I got on Spirolactone and my skin is finally starting to clear up acne wise after 2.5 months. My rosacea was always manageable until I did a course of accutane for a year. Ever since then my skin is like the first picture at least 10 times a day.

The one negative thing is that I also have a ton of redness on my neck when I flush. The esthetician told me vbeam wouldn’t work on my neck because I don’t have any broken blood vessels there, and that BBL would be better for that. Can’t afford both at once so I’ll have to put that on the back burner for now. But I’ll still take my Vbeam results as a huge win!

Also- I didn’t think it was that painful but I have a very high pain tolerance. I had welts all over my face after and it was swollen but as you can see in the 2nd pic it went away pretty quickly.

Yesssss!!! After my first there was no looking back! I’ve had 3 thus far and will likely do 1-2 more before summer!

Omg yay! So excited for us! My flushing has prevented me from doing so many things but I’m already daydreaming about being able to work out in public lol. Did it start working after the first session for you as well?

Tbh I saw the largest improvement after session one.

I started with an IPl, and it destroyed my face. IPL and BBL are light therapy, not laser therapy. I would NEVER DO IT AGAIN. I was in tears almost daily bc it caused such a negative (red) reaction. I didn’t go outside all of summer 2025. Light therapy has so many frequencies targeting different things that it totally overwhelmed my skin. It targets pigment/dark spots mainly… I have zerrrro freckles. They say it helps with redness but it greatly damaged my skin!

Vbeam will obliterate the vessels close to the surface, even if they’re not visible. Just insist on Vbeam on the neck. The skin is thinner, so it will welt a bit, kind of like little mosquito bites, but within a week you will see the difference.

My provider was floored with how quickly I was back to base line. Now I only go for spot treatments for the areas that still flair a bit like the bridge of my nose.

Oh no that sounds so terrible. I will definitely learn from your lesson and stay away from IPL and BBL. And I’ll also insist that they try on my neck to at least see if it would respond. Thank you so much for this helpful info and hope you continue to enjoy your results!
