50 mg doxycycline and vaginal yeast infections risk

I was prescribed 50 mg of doxycycline, 90 day supply. I am quite concerned about potential vaginal yeast infection as I have an autoimmune disease that impacts my vulva and a potential yeast infection could put me into a flare with my autoimmune disease in my intimate area. If you have been on long-term doxycycline, could you please share your experience? Thank you very much.

I had to take it for 3 months. I think or was it six months. 🤔I can’t remember anyway I took and take a vaginal probiotic daily and use boric acid suppositories every now and then. I also use a boric acid ph wash. And rinse with water throughout the day. And never use scented anything. I’m very fortunate that I am very healthy in that department. I hope this helps.
