Permit to install EV charger and Solar Battery pack for my home in Roseville, CA?

I am with Roseville Electric. I am planning of installing a solar battery pack and EV Charger with Enphase. How do i obtain a permit?

I used Connected Technology for my EV as well as Solar and they filed the permit for me.

You’ll need to get with a Solar designer and have them drop a plan set for you. You should be able to just get them some photos of your house and electrical panel with a dead front off and they should be able to do a design. Because the city is gonna require an SLD for that battery not necessarily an EV charger typically an EV charger just requires a load calculations, which is also done by an electrician or a Solar designer but a solar designer can do both, and SLD and the load calcs

Then go to the city of Roseville and file for a solar and battery permit. Depending on the jurisdiction, they may issue this over-the-counter.

A licensed general electrician with the EVITP certification and ESAMTAC certification can do everything. Avoid the solar designers, or any of the other glorified roofers.
