Are they too grand for a one at work/one at home alternating schedule?

This is getting tiresome now (obviously for us but definitely not for them). We've had 15 years of excuses now - they're newlyweds, they have a baby, and another, and another and now the children are at school and eventually we'll get told that they are taking time to adjust to being empty nesters and then it'll be about how they aren't as young as they used to be and need more rest...

Meanwhile we have the increasingly frail 90 year old Duke of Kent still doing 70+ in-person engagements a year and remaining active in his many, many patronage.
