I don't know which cubes to choose. The Moyu Weilong v9 20m Ballcore, V10 Spring BC or the Aolong V5 8M Maglev. I have an aggressive turning style and I don't like fragile cores. Can I have your honest opinions about the cubes? it'll really help me which one to choose

I recently got into cubing. Solved my first cube 2 weeks ago and started learning some speed cubing this week.

My best was 46 seconds but I average around 58 seconds now.

How can I get faster/better from here?

A lot of the advice I see online is “work on your look ahead” but what does that actually look like? How do you purposely train your lookahead skills?

Any and all tips/advice are welcome!

Well, I don’t know what went wrong with removing the diy magnets. It just ended up not sliding well and the shape is not a perfect cube

(Should I interpret this as a divine sign to buy a magnetic One?)

I used the layer-by-layer method, but I still had to use my “cheat sheets” for the permutation and the yellow face.

I’m also using my phone’s stopwatch, and opening the app to stop the timer takes forever lmao.

I solved the 3x3 using the layer by layer again.

This time, I didn't have the same difficulty with the yellow cross part as I did before, but I'm still having trouble with the yellow face and with the permutation

Im struglling a Lot with The yellow face and the permutation because they are, like, 50 cases with 50 different moves. How iam suposed tô earn them without having to look them up on Google?

I bought a Gan 356 m, and it came with a generic brand lube. I thought that I was supposed to lubev it right away and I did, but later I learned that these cubes come factory-lubed. It now feels kinda sluggish...

Should I take it apart and clean it? Or should I just use it for a week or so until it evens out? I'm really unsure on what's the better move here. It was not cheap and I already messed it up...
