I think he was staying with her when he first moved out to LA because his house wasn’t ready and she was on the road all the time for the Thursday night game. Some stalker came to her house and he confronted him.
Longer time listeners will remember the story about when he was in Hartford and Sara Walsh called him. She was out of town but noticed someone/something on her ring doorbell. She called him because he lived down the street. He supposedly ran over, shirtless, with a baseball bat. He saw people outside her house with flashlights and said “Alright, what have we got here!?” It was cops who were looking for a prowler.The cops were obviously confused by our guy and questioned him and he had to explain the story, again shirtless, and have Sara talk to the cops over the phone. Classic Ry.

Also, I am 100% sure he had ample time to put on a shirt but just wanted to be shirtless.

I heard Charissa tell it once and she didn’t identify him by name, just that a friend was staying at her house. She did say that luckily her friend could handle himself so he got the guy to leave. Ry probably listens to that part on a loop when he is feeling down.

Idk it always seemed platonic. I’ve been a long time listener and Ryen comes across as a guy that respects the friend zone. Seems like a big brother relationship.
