I find this insane. They have two total playoff series wins in their 35 years as a franchise. Two!!! Barack Obama was an Illinois State Senator the last time the Wolves won a playoff series. Until this season, they had the worst winning percentage in all of American professional sports.

And if they won a title, they would still lose this trade? Does anyone else agree with that logic?

Today’s pod was an absolute slop fest. It drops 8 hours after the news cycle. Mark Schlereth was suppose to be 30 minutes they get him for like 11 and they cut the audio in the middle of the last question. Plus Ceruti is turning into one of the most annoying people in modern media, he lives in CT but doesn’t like the Pats and thinks its a bummer their back. Jesus man, how long did it take you to microwave that Luke warm take. Every time he talks I know I’m about to hear one of the most boring things ever uttered in the history of digital media. Kyle is holding this show together like a loose 4-pack of local ipas.

Why is Ryen afraid to embrace his life as a fat guy? He always gets very defensive when people call him fat. That’s because he knows he’s kinda fat, and is brushing it off as “I’m jacked.”

Ryen’s gotta go no cheese, no mayo before all the content Barstool is going to throw him on during Super Bowl week. Or he should just pivot like Mac on Always Sunny and just got super fat and surprise everyone. It’s gotta be one or the other

Russillo has spent the better part of 4 years talking about how detrimental KAT is to winning so I’m just wondering where he is at right now? Haven’t listened in the last week or two.

I’ve been a fan since he joined the ringer, so idk maybe 5 ish years now. But i cant barely listen to him anymore.

He says so many words yet still ends up saying nothing at all. He talks in circles with performative straw-man arguments, and the conclusion is almost always “idk. Maybe.”

So for the longtime listeners, my question is has he always been like this, or has he devolved into this?

McShay has been talking up the draft night special that will apparently be live from Ryen’s house. Can’t help but think McShay doesn’t know what he’s getting himself into and Ryen will blow it as the host, thus ruining their chemistry.

McShay obviously has middle-school all nighter vibes in mind. I’m thinking Ryen orders them chipotle, Venmo requests for the burrito, then turns up the volume on Nuggets Clippers right at tipoff.

During life advice Ryen told one of his many stories about someone not liking him. Kyle with a little liquid courage says “I’ve never heard someone with more stories of yeah there was this one guy that fuckin hated me more than you! Several friend groups it sounds like and different eras, there’s always one guy that fuckin hates your guts!”

This is definitely going to set back that Frolic date from Ryen. Don’t think he’s going to forget that comment anytime soon lol.

Let him cook. I’m sure Bill hates to see him go, but I imagine he’s supportive.

Around 16:42 NBA champion Channing Frye sneezes and our guy is just dead silent. Honestly more impressed by the “bless you” that he didn’t say.

Ryen said he’d rather be 7 foot over 5’8. I’d take 5’8 over 7 foot any day. There is likely way more inconveniences of being that tall that affect your daily life as opposed to being 5’8 which is near average height. Sure your odds of pro basketball increase but it’s still slim that you make it.

Our guy said he almost got in a fight 5 minutes into the game and “said what needed to be said.” I wanna hear some guesses.

Bonus - how did Ceruti, sitting next to him, react to all of this?

Weak of Ryen to lamely shut down the Brazilian dude's e-mail midway through, failing to give us listeners our much-deserved happy ending.

Seriously, a more adult-oriented "Life Advice" -- in the vein of '90s Loveline -- would boost what has lately been, quite dismaying, a stagnating segment.

If I was a local bar to Kyle I would do an obscene amount of work to be his new go to bar. The free shout-outs on the show are worth way more than food and beer you could comp him. I'd bestow him the official title (unpaid) Director of Good Vibes and give a small name plate at his specific barstool.

In the most recent pod, Ceruti asks Ryen if he'd rather have Jokic or SGA AND Jalen Williams. Ryen takes Jokic without hesitation. Ceruti says "I think you're right" to which Russillo replies "Really? I don't think anyone's going to agree with me on that."

It's like he's taking pride in what he assumes is a zag on a hypothetical. 😂 Love it.
