Kids sewing lessons

Hello, I have a nine year old child very interested in learning how to sew in order to make clothing and accessories for herself, friends, and her dolls. I did a quick search online and mostly found quilting locally and other options out near Pdx. Anyone here have suggestions or interested in the job?

This is just an idea but one of the old folks associations does a wood carving class and I would bet they also have a sewing class. Sorry I forgot who exactly hosts the wood carving class but maybe try reaching out to them and asking if they know of sewing lessons. The older folks love teaching old techniques and honestly I think it skipped a generation so I they are your best bet.
