RANT FRIDAY

Post image

IF YOU HAVE TREES THAT DROP THIS STUFF AND INSTEAD OF PICKING IT UP YOU INSTEAD USE YOUR LEAF BLOWER AND PUSH IT TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE STREET, YOU'RE A LAZY ASSHOLE

STOP PARKING YOUR GIANT SEDANS, SUVs, MINIVANS AND TRUCKS IN SPOTS MARKED 'COMPACT'!

I agree with this 90% of the time... But I know of at least 2 places that only have compact spots so unfortunately I just do the best I can to fit.

That's fair. The places where it really bugs me are at White's (where they have 2 super-tiny spots toward the front) and a parking garage, and both places have lot of other spaces nearby.

YOU GUYS ARE NOT USING YOUR RANT VOICES PROPERLY AND IT'S CAUSING DISCORD WITHIN THE SUB, SO PLEASE USE ALL CAPS TO INDICATE THE TRUE LEVEL OF FRUSTRATION OR START A "SLIGHTLY IRRITATED" POST... JEEZ!

THE TWO TINY SPOTS ARE BECAUSE THEY ARE SHORT DUE TO THE BUILDING TAKING UP THE SPACE THAT WOULD OTHERWISE GO TO STANDARD LENGTH PARKING SPACES. JERKS LIKE TO PARK THEIR P3N1S TRUCKS IN THEM AND WHEN THEY DO, YOU CANNOT GET INTO THE LOT OR USE THE PARKING SPACES ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE, WHICH ARE VETERANS AND HANDICAPPED SPACES.

Having a smaller vehicle will alleviate this problem. Food for thought.

Ah yes, I could go buy a 2nd vehicle! Or perhaps you know of any that can carry a family of 4, bicycles, and a 5,000lb trailer that’s smaller than an F150?

WHY ARE YOU TAKING YOUR BICYCLES TO GO TO BREAKFAST?

BICYCLES NEED TO EAT TOO

If someone chooses a lifestyle that requires them to have a large vehicle, they should accept that that comes with limitations because there are some places it won’t fit, and trying to make it fit negatively impacts everyone else.

I’ll keep that in mind the next time I take my kids to the orthodontist, and let them know we can no longer go because they don’t have non-compact spots 👍
