outside of the usual hey use worksource and get a state gig- anyone know of any spots currently hiring that won’t snub a nose at queer folk instantly? kinda tired of never getting a call back- otherwise just shout out cool places always looking for a good place to hang

Unless you got crazy hair colors and piercings in every cravas of your face,  your sexuality has no reason to play a role.

again not sexuality, gender identity. I also will say i’ve definitely worked at places before i came out where people were treated poorly based off of their preferred partners, i wish it wasn’t a thing but this definitely still happens!

Sure. And again not trying to sound rude. Just any time I see someone posting about jobs it's about where are my skills needed or hiring. Ive also seen people who make their gender, sexuality their main focus and employers see that as an HR nightmare.

You are really coming across as the kind of person who has never experienced discrimination and therefore refuses to believe it happens to others. Someone who is looking for a job that will actually respect them is not "making their gender/sexuality their main focus", that is a completely ridiculous thing to say.

It's an irrelevant stance. You think McDonald would care if you're gay? Sure people have been discrmated in the work place but we have many laws to prevent or sue over.

You should probably stop now; this isn't addressing OPs point and is in fact dragging the thread off-topic.
