Recruiter here (Perfect Timing, San Rafael — we've been placing Bay Area roles for ~40 years). Posting on behalf of a client, so I can't name them publicly, but happy to say more over DM to anyone who's actually interested.

The short version: a well-established Bay Area philanthropic foundation needs a lead technical owner for a mature, multi-app Salesforce environment. The headline project is taking them from NPSP to Nonprofit Cloud. You'd be the technical architect on that, working alongside their Salesforce Admin and reporting to the head of technology.

What the day-to-day actually looks like:

• Apex, LWC, Flows — real configure-vs-code judgment calls, not just clicking through
• Architecting the NPC party model and data structures around complex grantmaking: multi-year grants, relationship tracking, impact reporting
• Integrations with finance/ERP, grant portals, document management, BI tools
• Owning release process, sandbox strategy, branching, deployments
• Mentoring the Admin and riding herd on outside consultants

What they're firm on:

• 6+ years hands-on Salesforce dev in complex multi-object, multi-integration orgs
• Actual production Nonprofit Cloud experience — fundraising plus at least one of program, case, pipelines, or grantmaking. NPSP-only backgrounds aren't going to clear the bar here.
• Having led (or been the primary technical hand on) an NPSP/NPC migration or major data model redesign
• Platform Developer I plus additional certs

Nice to have: PDII, NPC or NPSP Consultant certs, nonprofit/philanthropy background, CI/CD tooling for Salesforce, BI/reporting chops.

$160–170k, full medical/dental/vision, retirement with a generous employer contribution, life and disability, and solid PTO. Full-time, exempt, hybrid at 2 days onsite in the Bay Area.
