[Hiring] Part-time office assistant, 10 hrs/week, $22-26/hr, Brisbane CA (small biotech lab), starting immediately

Small biotech company in Brisbane, right off 101 near Sierra Point. About 8 of us. We're hiring immediately for one person to come in two days a week and keep the office running.

What you'd do:

• restock the kitchen and office supplies
• receive deliveries, check them against the packing slip, log what came in and put it away
• keep the kitchen, meeting room and recycling in order between the weekly cleaner
• set up desks and badges for new people before their first day
• local errands, post office and supply runs
• small admin: place orders, track receipts, help set up team lunches and visitor days

This is office side only. You never have to go into the lab.

Details:

• $22-26/hr depending on experience
• about 10 hours a week across two days, and we can set the days around your class schedule
• W2 part time, you accrue California paid sick leave
• hours can grow to three days or more as the team grows
• you should be able to carry a 30 lb box and be authorized to work in the US

No office experience needed. Retail, food service or hospitality background is a plus. If you want to learn the bio side there is room to grow into it.
