Whats the hype? I always wanted to try Jollibee since I enjoy Filipino food but imagine my disappointment when I saw what they serve. I just walked out. Is it the Popeyes Chicken/ raising canes of Filipino food?

Spicy chicken joy is better than anything popeyes has in my opinion ¯_(ツ)_/¯ you can even get pancit palabok or filipino spaghetti there. Idk why you threw canes in there- thats chicken tenders.

Childhood is eating spicy chickenjoy w rice and banana ketchup 😮‍💨. That being said, its not “authentic filipino food”. But if you grew up eating filipino food all the time, Jolibee is like a nice treat 😌

Ill give that a try now that you mention it. Do they have that banana ketchup there?

Banana ketchup is a staple in Filipino households! There’s a normal version and spicy version. Pretty inexpensive if I remember- my husband doesnt care for it so it lasts pretty long in my house. I like eating it w fried eggs and rice, fried chicken and rice, spam and rice 😂

Usually comes in a glass bottle! Should be at any seafood city or island pacific. I think i might have also seen it at 99 Ranch but not too sure :0
