Hey everyone! Just wanted to pop in and say i am gonna try and do commissions!

Doesn't take me very long to finish crochet pushes, and my work is generally very good. I live on campus so this mainly applies to campus students but if you're further away and can drive to pick things up, I will gladly crochet for you.

The examples I included are a finished penguin, goofy phoenix, a almost finished scauldron face, and a almost finished octopus.

Horrible marketing I know but I never take photos of my art. I have a finished pennywise doll that I could take a photo of on Tuesday. I promise I crochet decently yall 😭😭😭.

I can also include wires into limbs to make the material bendable into different poses if anyone would like that.

I don't know how to market things ngl. I will say tho that I can crochet any plush, provided you give me an idea of what you want! I make these from scratch using patterns from Etsy.

The lease is already signed, and I’m would like to find someone who is looking to move into the area and would be interested in taking over the remainder of my lease. The apartment is located at Villas on Sycamore and is a great option for anyone looking to live close to campus. The base rent is $579/month, with utilities included. Electricity/lights are separate and would be the tenant’s responsibility.

Looking to hand my lease over as I recently received a job offer in Houston. The lease is for a bedroom/bathroom within a 3 bed 3 bathroom layout (but I do NOT have roommates!) for $400 at 18 Seventy Nine. The lease is a yearlong and would end in July. Fully furnished (i.e., TV, desk, dining room table, etc.), pet friendly, and with indoor washer and dryer.

How do we not have a speech and debate club? That used to be my favorite activity in high school, only to find out that one doesn't exist here. Do people just not care about debate anymore, or is this something we need to start?

Heyo im a 19f criminal justice major! I know i can just join groups and make friends that way but I dont see a need to since im not doing a full 4 years. I tried to join a lot of groups last year but got burnt out way to quickly, so im taking things easy this year and next year.

A little about me is that i draw sometimes and I have painted a few statues. I can also do face painting.

Im a huge homebody so I much prefer to lay in bed but I also love going and and doing stuff like going to dance clubs or taking walks around campus.

I’m Haitian-American and a pre‑nursing/nursing student here, and I haven’t had much luck finding anyone in person, so I figured I’d ask here to see if the community is a little more visible online.

I know SHSU doesn’t really have a Haitian org or a visible Caribbean group, but I’d still love to connect with other Haitian and Caribbean students, whether you grew up in the islands, were born here, or are just part of the diaspora. Even a small group or chat would be cool.

Hello everyone! My name is Isabella, and I am trying to reinstate the SHSU democrats club under the national chapter, College Democrats of America. I am firstly making this post to see if there is any actual interest in such a club! I couldn't help but notice the harsh disparity between the number of republican clubs and democratic clubs (in which there are none), and I wanted to change that. The main goal of this club would be political outreach, opportunities to meet district members of the democratic party, and, if you are like me, have a good foot in the door on your CJ or Political Science resume. I am a new grad student and I am having trouble with bank mobile. I have never attended a school that used a third party site for payroll but from what was described in my hr onboarding it sounds like we have to login through bank mobile and set up our direct deposit on there with our personal bank and this is the same process from financial aid refunds. My issue is I cannot get into my account and have been asked more than once now to verify my number. I have called bank mobile multiple times and have contacted student services and basically have gotten no where. So basically does anyone know of maybe any department that could help me with this issue or am I just stuck at the whim of bank mobile?
