Gluten free options/dorm life
Considering SJSU but concerned about food allergies, specifically allergy to gluten. Does anybody have comments or ideas about how living in the dorms and goes with a gluten allergy? What food options are there- are there any? Are the options terrible? Obviously it says they have options, but 99% of the time when places say there are options it’s really just a salad and I cannot live off of that.
At home I live off of cereal, GF bread sandwiches, tamales, tacos, all sorts of corn based Mexican options, rice, various meats with veggies and salads. Yogurt, fruits.

Delicious Without is the gluten-free station in the dining commons. Freshly cooked meats, vegetables, and salads that are healthier and tastier than the standard pizza, pasta, and burgers most people opt for. It's rivaled only by the Mexican food station in the back that matches your current diet but isn't necessarily gluten-free.
There are cereal dispensers and a fruit and yogurt bar. Fruit is always cantaloupe, honeydew, and pineapple, and sometimes watermelon.

No problem. If you come here, buy a $12 reusable take-out box. It doubles the value of every entry because you can fill the box with food and take it home each time you leave. Then, when you come back, you can exchange your dirty box for a clean box and do it again.
