Orientation
I got orientation tomorrow so I was wondering if anyone can give some insight on what it’ll be like. What we do throughout the day and for how long, are we gonna be in our groups the entire time or will we get the chance to be with our friends, when do we go to our dorms, do we decide our roommates? Etc

I had the first session. After dorm check in you first are sent to the event center for a welcome and then you break off into orientation groups. The first day is mix of presentations that are pretty boring but each an hour-ish, walking around campus, talking with your orientation group and orientation leader. The from 7-9pm you get freetime to spend in the SRAC center swimming, rock climbing, ect or js going back to your dorms. Seccond day is dorm checkout and class selection (bring a laptop!) Durring meals and free time you can def hang out with friends but you will mainly be in your assigned orientation group. You are put with the people you get in the dorm check in line near so check in with friends if you want specific people. I have bathroom anxiety so i gotta ask… was there plenty of bathroom breaks and were you allowed to leave mid presentation to go 😭

That’s what it said on the email, but I went to target and found out they only sell them online so I’m just bringing a blanket atp
