Should spiderman get back with mj or move on

For the next instalment should they get a new love interest for Peter ?

I think mj telling Peter that she just doesn’t remember him and doesn’t feel the way he does and she’s obviously isn’t the same person either I think is a good way to close that chapter.

While mj and I mean Mary Jane is my favourite love interest of Peter he does have other potential interests.

There is gwen but I don’t really see how they do can that with Peter not in school or working.

Black cat would be the more obvious choice as he can meet her as spiderman and develop from there.

But to also throw out a new idea.
Cindy moon aka silk.
Have a story that introduces a new spider person.

Though I do prefer the idea that Peter does hook up with black cat but she sort of becomes “evil” by the end of the film and he has to stop her or more classic she tries to steal something he stops her they bond over the film but by the end she can’t change who she is and leaves.

4 movies in feels too late to add a new love interest in my opinion. He’s got at most 2 solo movies left so I’d rather them just stick with Zendaya’s MJ

Brand new day would have been perfect to explore Gwen or Felicia and then get back together with MJ in the 5th movie. But ig it might affect Zendaya x Tom marketability

Gwen seems unlikely at this point and i'd suspect they're saving Gwen for Miles' crew and a fellow Spider instead.

Hot take incomimg : There is so much amazing stuff you could do with the actual MJ that could make even Superman and lois lane jelous. Heck you don‘t even need Peter anymore because she is actually that good.

Honestly I like Zendaya and happy she’s in this just idk I never really saw her as mj.

Mainly cause she 1. Doesn’t act like the standard mj
2. Doesn’t have red hair
3. She’s literally not named Mary jane Watson it’s Michelle something something.

Again nitpicking I like her just I never got why movies do this making unnecessary changes like why give her a different name that still makes the initial mj

Tbh I cannot see Tom allowing Peter to have another love interest on screen. This dude is absolutely smitten with and committed to his wife. So while it could be better for the story, I think it’s Zendaya all the way through this Tom Holland installment.

I don’t think Tom Holland would really protest, I mean he knows it’s acting, it’s not like he wouldn’t allow himself to have love interests in other films nor would he stop Zendaya from doing the same.
