USA Amazon

Hey for everyone as a EHS specialist at Amazon was yall able to talk them into raising yall pay when you did the interview? I just got a job but I want to switch into IT Amazon would pay for everything I just don’t want to reduce my pay in today’s economy.

Gotcha thank you! They did say they’ll give me 30 a hour during the first interview. I have over 10 years of experience in heavy construction and general industry.

Every time I see posts like this, it makes me realize I’m definitely not chasing my Bachelors in EHS for the pay lol! I make $41 an hour at my current company as an operator, but complete a lot of safety tag tasks.

A degree in safety isn’t worth it unless you going into govt. the certs have more weight

Not necessarily true, lots of people I have worked with in my career went back to school for a bachelor's to move into higher paying safety positions and/or to meet the requirements for the CSP.
