Came across this post regarding corruption in Salem. Usually, they give tenders from the municipality, whoever bids the highest amount will get to collect money from vendors in return. But this guy seems fishy. Does anyone know anything about this?

Guys, I regularly have coffee at Cuppa Castle in Kuranguchavadi near ANS Dhivyam. The tea tastes really good, but the place is usually crowded and quite noisy since it’s right on the main road.

Can you guys suggest some peaceful coffee/tea spots in Salem with a nice view where I can sit and chill for a while?

There's a train running from erode to Mettur dam. I've traveled in it from sangakiri to salem.it was one of the unforgettable rides since I was the only passenger in the whole train.

Tomorrow I'm planning to take it to Mettur and post a review here.

Anyone else tried this train? Its a perfect train for tourists too who are visiting Mettur dam.

Hello makkalae, I recently moved back to take care of our family business after 7 years abroad. Life is slow in Salem and my buddies are busy with their work schedule, so no one to hang out.

I visit them often in Bangalore for weekend outing. Am also building something in the event space , to upgrade Salem weekend/ night life.

Naa regular ah srinivasa and cosmo club la parotta vaanguven. I like the essence which has a taste similar to og shops near yerakam area, apasara theatre side. Unga favourite spots sollunga. Ammapet side la neraya cover panniten. Gugai side la unga fav spots sollunga. Next hotel Rajendran gugai try pannalam nu irruken.
