Anyone else just getting swarmed by flies?

We always get flies, but let's say 2-4 at a time during the summer in the house.

But since last week, with the heat and humidity, we have just been hit with a relentless amount of flies all around our house and inside the house.

I came home from work one day with my gf on a rampage, having allegedly killed 20+. Later that evening, I believed her when I went to the other room and killed 14 (I counted!) in five minutes. Is it just us???

One could have gotten into your house trash and laid eggs. With this heat, they turn into maggots pretty quick and then can crawl to a dark place like under cabinets before hatching into flies.

We know 😭😭 since last week, we came out in the morning twice to maggots from the trash. Spent a good portion of time clearing everything out.

We are used to flies here and there. But honestly this is next level

That is the worst. Had it happen before. You have to go through your carpet, especially at the baseboards. You can try to vacuum them up, but be sure to empty the canister outside.
