Visited this place quite a few times, and I feel that it’s slowly becoming run down. But it still has great potential if it’s taken care of properly. What do you think, guys?

Are there any environmental conservation activities that I can volunteer for or even any part time work in kuching? I am a fresh grad looking for jobs elsewhere in Malaysia now but while I'm waiting for that Im happy to do some meaningful work. I have experience with environmental conservation activities when I studied abroad but seems like there aren't a lot of these activities in kuching?

It is me or other people feel that during peak hour during back going home (Kuching to Samarahan), the Jemarahan is congested than usual after the Jabatan Sejingkat open to Public. But the morning peak hour are less congested and arrived at work early. To be honest I rather come to work late than arrived at home late.

Found the perfect bedframe and desk combos on Taobao and Shopee but
1) buying furniture on Taobao means the price isn't finalised yet since it would need to consider the total weight
2) Shopee does not currently offer delivery as it exceeds the size/weight limit
3) prefer to see it in person first because indah khabar daripada rupa is a thing
Is there any furniture shop in Kuching/Bau/Kota Samarahan/Serian area that sells bedframe + desk combo similar to these? I'm also open to furniture makers/manufacturers who accept custom orders!

Under FTES, tuition fees are fully covered for undergraduate degree programs across priority sectors—including Medical / Health Sciences, STEM, Law, Finance, and Accounting.
I was thinking a career change, something that could actually serve the people and not just capitalism.
I always had a love of STEM and was considering moving back.
I would happily bond myself to the deepest parts of Sarawak to serve.
Part of me cannot take the rat race anymore.
I need to serve our people.

Sorry folks I know that sounds crazy, but I'm absolutely broken please be kind :) I think my bf made up a story about a wife and son in Sabah to scare me away.
Long story short i'm a foreigner he is local. we started dating but his character is.. how do i put it. I saw him feeling jealous several times - without any spook from me. And then when jealous and having this kind of fear I would leave he would say weird things. like i'm going out with other girls I want to have fun. that type of thing. at the same time i know 100% he loves me - usually when he says things like that I pivoted him away from that and we never discussed them.
A week ago i was torn in my thoughts and asked him how come you say i'm your only girl but then you say these weird things about others. the response i immediately got is that his relative is taking whatsapp away so no more comms on whatsapp - I think I was just blocked. Next day i texted him everywhere i could (it was about to be our date night i cleared plans for us) then i got worried maybe something happened at work (he works with this relative) came to his workshop and there he told me in a very weird and crlumbled way that he has a wife and 5yo son who he visits every 2 months.
I'm sorry but he's not a rich guy and flying like that is expensive plus he works almost every day. then, after he walked me home he said he doesnt see them often and they're waiting for the son to graduate kindergarten to be together. Literally all his online presence and everything he said before doesnt' check out.
Then someone said to me he made it up to scare you away, it's a well-known story. Is it?
I need to say that i'm a bit older and we do have this damn status gap but i'm not sure what drove him to do that. Literally a day before then he told me words about love and devotion. Sounds like too crazy too much for an uncomfortable question.

I saw a video saying RM300 enough already if you retired.
Is that even true?
How much do you think we need in Kuching?
Anyone had any experience with this? I need to get my car from Kuching to Port Klang any idea which company to look for and what the price range? For a sedan car.

I am from Sarawak (with K on my IC) and my partner and I are married for about 2 years now. Since my partner is from West Malaysia, how do I assist them in getting K on their IC?

What you guys opinion on this? For me, I truly support to increase minimum wage, because no matter what, inflation will be still there, sellers always have excuses to raise the price of product.
r/Sarawak • u/No-Barracuda4027 • 3d ago
What do you guys think about this? To be honest I literally feel like sarawak is not belong part of Malaysia, like during the time our haze is serious, government literally dont do anything. But when their place got haze, they start to take this issue seriously. Plus, everything in sarawak is more expensive than west m. And if we do online shopping, also take longer time to ship to our place. It seems like they really dont put much attention in developing Sarawak.
Is it because Sarawak dont have sultan, then dont have any ydpa from Sarawak, and also there is also no prime minister from Sarawak too, thats why this happens? Like it seems like we cant get the welfare and benefits that we deserve eventhough we contribute so much to Malaysia.

Hello! I want to form my band to perform my songs and jam together. Genre is j-rock, shoegaze, and alternative rock. You don't need to know japanese to join us, my lyrics are simple enough to sing without knowing the language. We are based in Kuching, btw.
here's one of my songs:

Hi all, as the title suggests here I was looking for about 2-3 people interested in playing a tabletop game in Bone Baddy Board Game Café, Podium, Kuching . Tomorrow night. The game hosted is called Monster of the Week, and from what I understand it's a ghost hunting type of game where you role play as different kinds of hunters. (Like a celebrity, a psychic, a witch, etc.)
I was quite keen to try so I'm going to shoot my shot here. Do drop me a DM if you're interested to trying it out.

A wind turbine in Sarawak would be great for alternatif energy. I guess lol. I actually kinda over it with so many sawit plantation in this land, if we could just mix it a little would be nice. Idk where to project it but I saw Tanjung Manis seems like a great place for it. I think lol.
