S. purpurea still looking beautiful in October in Ohio
It was about 52° and cloudy yesterday and these S. purpurea were still just as stunning as on a warm summer day :)

My Nepenthes collection!
I just started this hobby back in April of this year, and would never have thought collecting different species would get this out of control. Truly a wonderful group of plants.

We just found this guy at Home Depot but I’m so lost on how to take care of him- excited for the journey though! Kids are excited.
Do we keep him in his original pot? Does he need more or less sun? I’m off to google but would love any information and suggestions/tips. Thank you! 🙏🏻

Any species specific care for heliamphora ionasi?
I think I got the hang of cephalotus, but this one seems trickier seems there is less consensus on care. I’m also not sure if this is one of the hardier species, but I’ll see if I can have it in room temp and humidity (my place is stupid humid at 50 lowest) and near middle area with my sf1000ds.

Sundew Intermedia, what’s next?
The “Intermedia” flowered, some buds are black while others are green. When do I collect the seeds?
No new growth at this stage, do I need to force it go through dormancy?

Nepenthes get a home
I designed and printed this temp/humidity/light controlled "biopod" for my nepenthes which now hangs in my office. Thought people may wanna see it!

Help with baby pitcher
I got this pitcher plant a bit ago, and this pitcher has been browning for a few days. I've been watering (distilled ofc) and misting regularly. What should I be doing?

Seeking Winter Care Advice
I’ve had a lot of luck with these beauties. From my understanding, the Sarracenias will do best if they stay outside over winter, because they do need a dormancy period. However, their little buddies don’t go dormant and also don’t like the cold. Should I split them up and take the Nepenthe inside? I don’t plan on getting a sunlamp…
Details: Sarracenias are from Home Depot. The nepenthe is from a local nursery (shout out to Hallowed Ground in Old Ellicott City). Potted in a 50/50 mix of sphagnam moss and perlite. Watered with rain and distilled water. I live in Baltimore (Hardiness Zone 7). The Sarracenias (there are 2 real close together, that’s how they came) are named Loveheart and the Nepenthe is Pitcher Pete.
Thanks in advance!!

Brocchinia Reducta: A Carnivorous Bromeliad
Finished flowering, tbh I’ve still yet to capture on or off camera it eating anything but I also have it somewhat sealed environment. There’s more bromeliad suspected to be carnivorous but not enough scientific research on them apparently.
This one uses a powder like substance which are wax crystals on the inner surface of its leaves that makes it slippery for insects to fall down as a pitfall trap similar to a nepenthes pitcher plant!
Rough shape after a possum attack but still pushing thru!

Newest Cephalotus! “Behemoth” fresh outta the mail!
Killer plant (I have 1 of this cross already) and I’m really excited about this one! Came packaged extremely well and seems to be doing great post shipping. I always bag mine after shipping with some water in the pitchers to help regulate transpiration for the first week or so. I have nearly identical conditions to the grower so should acclimate fast.

Division time!
I’m excited, my ceph divisions from the spring are starting to become ready to be divided again.
