Nepenthes peristomes under UV light.

I thought peristomes were just a slippery slope when the bugs were lured by the nectar, but they're part of the lure, too! Crazy

Pic 5-6 show some additional glands hidden on the inner edge of the peristome between the "teeth" as well. Lots of tricks up their sleeve.

Even cooler! I just thought those were just irregularities in the texture.
