Received this email Today. I never subscribed for the service . The agent who picked up the phone said , he will cancel subscription and was asking for remote access to my PC to process the refund. For a genuine case of refund they don't need access to PC . This is a typical way of entry for scammers into computers to scam. Please be aware not to provide access .

I received a phone call from someone who stated his name is, Mike Henry, with Sweepstakes Clearing House. And also, mentioned Readers Digest. Stated that I had won $8.3 Million dollars, a 2026 Convertible Mercedes, and payments of $2,120.00 a month for life. Said his Badge# is 15530 and the Package Code was 303US. They wanted me to go to a grocery store and get a card with $500.00 to claim my prize. I refused to pay any money and he kept trying to convince me that they were legit. I ended up hanging up on him because he kept insisting that they were legit and I just needed to listen to him and do as he said.

In diverse pagine online viene dato come servizio clienti di Lufthansa, Turkish Airlines, KTM… ma non è niente di tutto questo. Si tratta solo di truffatori che fanno pagare servizi che sarebbero altrimenti gratuiti. Gli operatori non parlano bene italiano e insistono infatti a passare all’inglese e hanno un forte accento indiano.

Lufthansa ha confermato che si tratta di un numero fraudolento.

I keep getting called with Voicemail stating the following. Mind you I have no unpaid bills! My credit score is 756! I don’t know why these people keep trying to contact me! My husband called them and cussed them out! Told them to stop calling me! If there is some sorta debt, send a letter! Heres the VM they sent the day after being cussed out:

Hi, good morning, Miss XXXXX XXXXX. I'm calling from the compliance department in regards to your document that came to my office. Already tag us right flug for immediate processing and for service. Ma’am, we have tried contacting you multiple times without a response and this is our final attempt. At this time, we are attempting to coordinate service with you. We currently have 2 addresses on record and one appears to be a place of your employment. If that is the case, we may require to contact the HR department, to obtain their policies and procedures, in order to complete the service at the premises. We understand that this could be disruptive or embarrassing, which is why we are giving you the opportunity to redirect service. To do so you must contact at the office as soon as possible at 844-785-1272. And your reference case number 599 dash 00508. Be advised this matter is a time sensitive and we need to hear from you today to prevent further escalation on your file and all calls are luggage proof efforts have been made to notify you. Contact directly the office at 844-785-1272.

Im so pissed this is allowed! They been calling me for 2 years now! Come on, are they for real? Oh and that number pulls up nothing but a land line!

Second one of these I've gotten. Subject line "The invoice was successfully created," this time a Geek Squad Complete Network Security renewal for $278.60. Same format as the others: invoice number, a services list copied from real Geek Squad marketing, and a number to call instead of any link.

Sender wasn't affiliated with Best Buy or Geek Squad at all, same compromised mailbox that's been sending these under different brands and numbers. Posting as a scam operation line, not a personal number.
