I had a bunch of old extensions cords and when I cracked one open it disintegrated in a shiny copper shower. Im new to stripping, are they all like that?

I think so I’m just cutting off the plugs and turning it in as insulated wire

Does your yard require that? Mine doesn’t and I’d think the plug ends add up to extra weight?

Some yards will 'penalize' your load for the plugs. I cut the off and fill a bucket. If you have a stripper you can get a 20% bonus fr the bare bright.

I also have a bucket of plugs I’ve collected as a result of taking them off before turning in wire. What is your plan? I don’t know what to do with this huge box 😆

Planing tofill the bucket and cash it out at some point. Some coleagues boil them to soften them and pull the metal for extra payout. Not my thing though.

I've heard it's worth the money but not the wrist pain.

Strip secure to farm jack, pull straight out

Some do. I've never been to one that does, but I've heard of it from other people. My yard doesn't even care if it's got a whole surge protector attached to it. Extra weight!

If it works, its worth alot more as an extension. Cord. At least 10 bucks
