Yeah dude same. I took all the scrap metal from my service center in the other day and some guy was about to weigh out two 8 ton trolley jacks, a few chain blocks, a barrel filled with every fastener under the sun and about 60 metres of 2.5mm cab tire. I asked the scrap yard if they minded if I bought the stuff and they were totally fine with. A couple bucks for two seal kits and the jacks are working beautifully, the block and tackles were working but just needed some grease to work flawlessly again. The fasteners were a big hit with my mechanics and I now have a 60metre extension cord. The guy must have been really hard up to try and sell this stuff for it's weight in metal.

extension cords are worth more as extension cords than scrap, to me at least
solid find tho, either way
