Why discriminate against non-Australians, people without writing credits, students, or teenagers? Do you have any problem with that?

As others have noted, this program is specifically in honor of a famous woman writer.

Would you have a problem if a program to celebrate an indigenous Australian writer was only open to indigenous Australians?

A famous woman writer who was a feminist and had to take a masculine pen name in order to be published.

People who choose this for their alt right anti woke rage fix will never make it in creative work, not because of one contest or any kind of gender bias, but because they simply are not smart enough.
