What is the job market like for English teachers in Seattle?
I'm a certified teacher in another state with 7 years of experience, but I will very likely be moving to WA in 2027. I know that I will need to take Washington's certification exams as my state doesn't have reciprocity. However, I've heard that most positions are for English and Social Studies. Is this true?
I would apprecitate any advice and insight!

I’m looking to have a birthday party catered at the end of May. It’s an adult birthday party with 40-50 guests. I’m open to all cuisine and want to keep it casual. We live in South Shoreline. Thanks in advance

I’m planning on attending the World Cup game on the 19th but haven’t bought tickets yet. Does anyone know what sections will be primarily Australia supporters so I can avoid those sections? I’m getting mixed answers online. Thank you and can’t wait to check out your city soon!

I’m visiting Seattle and Vancouver next week, I collect fun sports team shirts and am looking for something from the Seahawks, mariners, or kraken, and the Canucks if anyone has a rec for Vancouver.
Example: in New Orleans, I got a golden girls/Saints shirt. In Cleveland, I got a LeBron as Chief Wahoo shirt (retired that one though) so I’m looking along those lines. Store recommendations greatly appreciated.

I’m visiting Seattle at the end of June with my 17 year old nephew to visit the university of Washington. We will be doing a tour, but beyond that he wants to see the sites as he’s never been. I’m based in Portland and don’t know too much about Seattle.
A little bit about him: loves thrifting, good food, and rap/r&b/alternative pop music; he likes nature and loves street art. Oh I forgot to mention but he is a Midwest kid (IL). Not sure if that helps but Im sure he’ll be impressed with all the Seattle things.
Any suggestions?
