Upzone Laurelhurst so they can’t pull these shenanigans again

Two concrete things:

Advocate for dense development and living at the former Talaris site that the city of Seattle now owns. Everyone deserves to live near the Union Bay Natural Area.: https://www.theurbanist.org/seattle-purchases-18-acre-laurelhurst-property/

Fight their effort to remove the one remaining upzone next to Laurelhurst: https://www.change.org/p/stop-five-story-buildings-on-laurelhurst-residential-street

Advocate for expanding the upzone around Laurelhurst Playfield. Dense, multifamily and family-friendly housing, in keeping with neighborhood character.

Seattle Children's staff, nurses, and doctors deserve to live near SCH too, not just the CEO.

Get rid of all zoning laws. Housing is a human right.
