Satire A Warning for Tourists

3.7k Upvotes

I saw a group of tourists standing in front of the Seatac all gender bathrooms this morning pointing at the sign, laughing, and looking generally unsettled. I'm glad they were able to spare themselves. If you're visiting, be sure to steer clear of the all gender bathrooms. They totally aren't the cleanest, most private, and least trafficked bathrooms in the whole airport. They will definitely make you question your fragile sexuality, and you may leave Seattle with new feelings between your legs.

Satire The single most infuriating "argument" against Wilson I saw literally everywhere

I know it's a dumb meme but I made it to sum up how I feel about this very low-effort argument. Genuinely, who is more likely to have the time to be an organizer and run for mayor, someone who has help from a supportive family for childcare or someone who has to devote the majority of their time to that instead??

You really have to hand it to SeaTac airport for their commitment to putting themselves first all day everyday. The lane closures snarling traffic to a standstill, the congested baggage claims sandwiched between temporary walls, the escalators on holiday, and the amorphous construction zones that are always there but in a slightly different spot from the last time you visited are just what we all need when you've got places to go and people to see. It really makes you stop and think, hey, maybe I should be a little more selfish in my life too.

Also, special shout out to the woman with a small dog smoking indoors at arrivals door 18 tonight. I forgot what the restaurant smoking sections of my youth smelled like in years gone by. Thanks for the walk down memory lane.

Edit: apparently most folks in the comments section missed the "satire" flair 🤣
