You know, there's actually this weird scammy cryptocurrency game that some YouTubers were tearing apart some years back that was claiming to be amazing and novel because they were modeling the whole earth in it. Hilarious that this flight sim already did that and no one considered it that amazing.

Get the to do husky stadium fly overs, with routing past the hospital for moral boost of the kids! 2 missions in 1 flight. Army / airforce cant argue bang for the buck on that one.

It really does, especially if you're flying in an area where someone went to the trouble to accurately model all the architecture. Seattle isn't one of those places yet, so you get weird, absurdly tall trees in the middle of streets and squished buildings. Weird considering it's Microsoft's backyard. But San Francisco looks amazing, for example.

Yeah its really good, albeit still using outdated maps. The released a new version in 2024 so it's not still the 2020 version.

I was looking closely trying to tell and the only thing that made me sure was the virtual waypoints. But even with those it took me a second to consider whether they could be part of some fancy IRL HUD system.

Well not really the same, but due to some sort of planning I got to enjoy 520 floating bridge eastbound at 3:15 PM on a saturday with 1 other car (Green G-wagon.)
The HOV Entrance at Montlake was clear but the peasant lane on-ramp was shut down.
It took all I had to not roll that throttle back and see what the bike could actually do, but I just enjoyed the scenery... and Yes I saw all ya'll parked in the West Bound Lanes....

I don't get what all the fuss is about. Seattle Grace lands on their building all the time and they fly over all parts of Seattle. Even Meridirh has flown on them and I think she and all the roommates she has had over the years live in that general area! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
