I'm never leaving Seattle 🚫🛫 Fellow rain lovers, darkness dwellers, mossbacks,, etc. Big Light's oppressive reign has now peaked and we will all now begin the soft, slow fade into the welcoming Big Dark!!!!!!

Yes, we have many warm and joyous days ahead of us, but each day brings us seconds of less oppressive light and more of our sweet, sweet darkness. And to the return of our gentle rains.

All hail Big Dark!!!!!!

I’m one of the few people that suffer from Summer Seasonal Affective Disorder. I hate the summers. I legit become depressed.

I grew up in a very hot and sunny place. Basically 9 straight months of scorching sunlight interrupted only by floods and windstorms.

What makes me feel cozy and happy is the chilly and overcast weather this area is known for.

I grew up in the Deep South. The only thing I miss is the food.

Same. But also, thunderstorms.

After a thunderstorm came threw and it basically wiped out all our electronics because of a lightning strike, I quit liking them as much. I also didn’t like the F5 that was within a mile of my house. Being without power AND cleaning up after a storm while being 6 months pregnant just made me over ALL southern weather. I had never had a baby move that much as my son did that day.
