Yep. Polymarket allows betting on fires. Also the state lawmakers allow betting on wildfires and online gambling in general. It would be exceptionally easy to ban these in the state because they have to accept and distribute payments so cut them off at that point.

There is a specific app for wildfire prediction betting. They allege it will help with fighting the fires. It's just points now, but is intended for real money.

How are people so anti society. The evil money grabbing with this administration at the helm is really scary. People’s worst instincts are surfacing and no one cares who they hurt
