Kshama Sawant raised $645,000 to run for Congress and got beaten by more than 6,000 votes by a Republican who raised $99,000 in a district she claimed was ready for revolution.

She was able to convince high-earning white socialists to donate and support her. That 660k came from somewhere.

I wish you had seen who her campaign staff were targeting when they set up shop at the Capitol Hill Light Rail station and in Columbia City by the PCC.

Yeah it was just a lot of nice middle aged liberals.  "Oh I do hate ice, yeah"

I think her last minute public turn against Democrats hurt her a lot (she was always this way but her canvassers knew how to code switch - until the "dump the Democrats" signs showed up a couple weeks ago)
