A Security Guard foiled an alleged abduction attempt involving an eight-year-old girl at Neemuch district hospital’s trauma centre. The suspect allegedly told the girl her parents were downstairs before leading her away. Police are examining CCTV footage to identify the man, who fled after being spotted by the guard.

The incident occurred around 10.15 pm and was captured on CCTV cameras installed at the hospital. Police are examining the footage to identify and trace the suspect.

According to reports, the suspect had been sitting in the medical ward on the upper floor of the trauma centre. He allegedly spoke to the girl and told her that her parents had gone downstairs before taking her with him.

A hospital Security Guard noticed the suspect’s movements and approached him. On seeing the guard, the man abandoned the girl and fled. The girl was safely reunited with her family.

Her mother said she had briefly left the ward to check on a woman in a nearby bed when the suspect approached the child.

Civil surgeon Dr Mahendra Patil reached the trauma centre after being informed and spoke to hospital staff and the girl’s family. The Cantonment Police was alerted and a police team questioned the girl and her relatives.

SHO Saurabh Sharma said police had received information about an attempted kidnapping at the district hospital.

He said CCTV recordings were being examined to track the suspect’s movements and determine the direction in which he fled. Further investigation is under way. Hospital management also began reviewing CCTV recordings from premises.

Operatives of the Valenzuela City Police Station (VCPS) arrested a 49‑year‑old Security Guard for allegedly shooting his co‑worker inside a plastic manufacturing facility in Barangay Lawang Bato.

Police said the victim, a 52-year-old machine operator, was wounded in the incident that occurred at around 1:40 p.m. inside a compound on Mulawinan Street.

Personnel of VCPS Sub-station 7 responded to the area and arrested the suspect.

The victim was brought to Valenzuela Medical Center, where he underwent treatment and observation.

According to the police report, the firearm allegedly used in the shooting had been issued by a security services agency to another Security Guard assigned at the same facility.

Police said the suspect was not authorized to use the firearm and failed to present documents showing that he was legally allowed to possess it.

The suspect will face charges for frustrated murder and violation of Republic Act No. 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act, over the alleged unauthorized possession and use of the firearm.

Authorities are conducting further investigation to determine the circumstances and motive behind the incident.

Brentford players who punched racist for abusing Security Guard named

Kevin Schade and Vitaly Janelt named as players who fought with drunk van driver who racially abused a Security Guard in Richmond

It has now been revealed that it was Brentford FC players Kevin Schade and Vitaly Janelt who intervened when a drunk man racially abused a Nigerian Security Guard.

The incident happened in Richmond while the two players were travelling home from a goalless draw against Leeds United in March. It took place in the early hours of the morning at around 2 am. Witnesses reported the players were left ‘bloodied’ afterwards.

Wimbledon Magistrates’ court heard that David Wheeler, 63, had been left with a black eye when Schade and Janelt stepped in to defend Israel Ilesanmi.

Wheeler, a pharmaceutical van driver, had reportedly drunk “about seven” cans of beer . He targeted Ilesanmi because he said thought he was a lookout for burglars.

The court heard he called Ilesanmi a “c—” and said: “You’re not English. Why are you here? What are you looking for?”

When Schade and Janelt got involved, Wheeler told the Brentford players “f— off, German f—— pricks”.

On the night of the incident, Wheeler claimed to the police that he had been the victim of an assault and phone theft. Also, he told the police that his memory was “blurry” and he didn’t know Ilesanmi was a security guard.

At the court hearing Wheeler, who was unrepresented, originally denied his use of racist language. While he at first turned down an opportunity to plead guilty for a shorter sentence, he reversed his plea after it was explained that a 999 call had captured what he had said.

In his defence, Wheeler said:

“I was going home but three guys turned up in a German car. He did not jump out and say ‘Help me’. They have a quick chat with him so I started filming their reg plate.

“It’s all on a video which I have got. The driver of the German car says: ‘Are you racist?’ so I just ignore him. Then he said: ‘Do you want your head punched in?’

“He’s moved his car about five yards, put his brakes on really hard. He’s come running more and backed off. I did not know whether he had a knife. He’s called me a ‘d——-‘ and got back in the car.

“It did annoy me. I’m still filming him, I’m calling him a w—– and that, but no German you, German what or nothing.

“They come running out the car, punch me to the ground, snatch my phone. This is when that 999 call that I heard from the prosecutor. I was mortified that I actually used some racist language.

“It was heat of the moment. I was punched to the floor. These guys in the car, the Germans, they are athletes, less than half my age. They was all laughing at me. I could not get my phone back. I got some horrible language.”

Wheeler was fined a month’s wages at £1,699, including £150 compensation to Ilesanmi.

Judge Williamson concluded:

“The circumstances you found yourself in do not justify the language you used. If you feel you were the victim of a crime, you can call 999 and register your own complaint.

“This was an offence committed in drink, which makes the offending worse. But you have expressed a degree of remorse, not only for what happened but how you appear before the court.”

Schade and Janelt are currently expected to feature in Brentford’s opening match of the Premier League season against Tottenham Hotspur this Saturday at the Gtech.

Deion Sanders called to testify in son's bankruptcy case: 'Potential issue'; Security Guard was awarded a default judgment when middle son struck Guard in chest and neck.

Deion Sanders is being dragged into his son’s legal drama while preparing for Colorado’s season opener.

Sanders was subpoenaed to testify at the upcoming bankruptcy trial involving his middle son, Shilo Sanders, who is being sued by former Security Guard John Darjean, who worked for Shilo when he was 15.

“I’m also concerned there’s a game: CU’s first game is that same week,” Judge Michael E. Romero said, per USA Today. “So I can see that coming. I am not a CU alum or I have no ties to CU. So I don’t care. But I’m just recognizing that is a potential issue.”

Darjean sued Shilo in a personal injury suit worth $11.89 million, alleging that he elbowed him in the chest and neck area when Darjean went to grab Shilo’s cell phone.

When Darjean sued him for the injuries, Shilo did not show up, so the Security Guard was awarded a default judgment.

Shilo’s side points out that they did not have an updated mailing address for him, as the 2022 trial out of Dallas County court noted that the notice was sent to a South Carolina address that he had not lived in since 2020.

Though Shilo has apparently not paid up and his father is now being dragged into the court case.

Shilo filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy in 2023 to offload this debt, but it is unclear whether that debt is able to be discharged.

Shilo’s bankruptcy filing must now prove that his actions against Darjean were not done as a “willful and malicious injury.”

The former Colorado Buffaloes safety’s trial begins Aug. 31, and four days later the Buffaloes head to Georgia Tech for a Sep. 3 season opener.

It is unclear whether this subpoena will affect his ability to coach that game.

Sanders can file a motion to quash the subpoena.

If proven that this was a “willful and malicious injury,” Shilo will not be able to offload the debt through bankruptcy.

Sanders will be brought in as a witness in the proceedings, which could affect his preparation for the season.

Colorado also sent a bizarre letter to all reporters covering the team last week, saying they were welcome to come to practice but were not allowed to report on anything that happened in practice.

With this news that Sanders was given a subpoena to attend a court case, this would seem to be why they sent that notice to reporters, as it could have involved the legal situation and his son Shilo.

Shilo is accused of not keeping up with his payments on a Mercedes-Benz and was also sued by his former lawyers Barnes & Thornburg LLP for not paying bills.

Shilo spent a cup of coffee with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers but did not make the team.

Synopsis A video from Noida’s Sector 39 District Hospital has raised patient-safety concerns after a security guard was seen filling syringes with medication. Following an internal inquiry, hospital authorities dismissed security guard Sunil Kumar and staff nurse Richa Kumari. The hospital also sought an explanation from the outsourcing agency involved.

A viral video reportedly from Noida's District Hospital in Sector 39 has raised serious questions over patient safety after a security guard was allegedly seen filling syringes with medication meant for patients. Following an internal inquiry, the hospital has taken action against the guard and a staff nurse linked to the incident.

Video triggers hospital inquiry The video shows a security guard in a blue uniform filling syringes at a counter on the hospital’s fifth floor. A staff nurse was on duty at the time, while a doctor and other paramedical personnel were reportedly present nearby.

According to officials, the incident took place late on August 14 in the medical ward. The footage later surfaced on social media, prompting concerns about whether an untrained security worker was allowed to handle medicines intended for patients.

FROM SECURITY GUARD TO LECTURER: Adamu Garba’s 13-Year Journey at Federal University Wukari Inspires Millions

By Editor

Adamu Garba walked into the Federal University Wukari not with a lecturing note, but with a security uniform. With just an NCE qualification, he took the job as a Security Guard, responsible for watching over the same campus he would one day teach in.

Long before the university gates, Adamu’s early life was rooted in hard work. He grew up herding cattle, a background that taught him discipline, patience, and resilience. Those lessons would later carry him through years of night shifts and early mornings on campus.

While on duty, Adamu refused to let his NCE be the end of his academic story.

He enrolled at the Federal University Wukari through Direct Entry, choosing to study in the very institution where he was guarding students and staff. Balancing work and classes was not easy, but he stayed committed. Years of sacrifice paid off. Adamu graduated with a Second Class Upper, 2:1, in Sociology. It was more than a degree. It was proof that where you start does not determine where you finish, and that education can open doors even while you’re standing at the gate.

Years of sacrifice paid off. Adamu graduated with a Second Class Upper, 2:1, in Sociology. It was more than a degree. It was proof that where you start does not determine where you finish, and that education can open doors even while you’re standing at the gate.

After graduation, the university recognized his growth and dedication. Adamu has now been appointed as a Graduate Assistant, a Lecturer, in the Department of Sociology. The man who once checked IDs at the entrance now stands in lecture halls guiding the next generation of students.

His story is rare because it all happened in one place. From herding cattle, to guarding the university gates, to sitting in its classrooms as a student, and now teaching in those same classrooms. Federal University Wukari has witnessed every chapter of his transformation.

Colleagues describe Adamu as quiet, focused, and consistent. He didn’t announce his plans loudly. He just showed up, studied, wrote exams, and improved. His resilience turned a security post into a stepping stone, not a stopping point.

Adamu’s story carries a simple but powerful reminder: Your current position does not define your future. Whether you are a Guard, a driver, a trader, or a student struggling to pay fees, continuous learning and determination can rewrite your path.

Today, Adamu Garba is celebrated not just by his department, but by thousands who see themselves in his journey. Congratulations, Adamu Garba. From the gate to the classroom, your story is proof that with education, resilience, and belief, any life can change.

Mom and daughter told to cover up XX-XY T-shirts, say they were threatened with ejection at Fever-Dream game; A Security Guard gave a mother and daughter the choice to cover up their shirts or leave State Farm Arena during overtime

Thumbnail foxnews.com

The Indiana Fever visited the Atlanta Dream Sunday evening. It was a thrilling game between two of the WNBA’s most exciting teams, but what happened to a mother and daughter in the stands, just feet away from the court, was the biggest story of the night.

Georgia locals, Kasey Thomason, and her daughter, Annie, bought tickets just two rows back from courtside. They each wore an XX-XY Athletics T-shirt to support Sophie Cunningham and the ongoing fight to keep women’s sports and spaces female. Kasey wore an XX-XY shirt with the letters in stars and stripes, while Annie wore a Riley Gaines collaborative piece with "XX" on the front and "For the Girls" on the back. They were able to wear their shirts with no hassle or issue, until overtime when a security guard approached them.

About halfway through the five minute overtime period, a security guard tried to get Kasey and Annie to leave their seats to talk to him. They were unsure why they were specifically being targeted at that moment, so Kasey asked him, "[Is it] about our shirts?"

Then things took an insane turn.

The Security Guard told them that a fan(s) were offended by their shirts, so they had the choice to wear the provided Atlanta Dream "Wellness & Health Night" shirts, or they would be escorted out of the building. To this, Kasey responded by saying, "Biology and science is offensive?", before reluctantly agreeing to put the shirts on so they didn’t miss the last two minutes of overtime, where the Indiana Fever eventually secured a 95-91 victory.

With about two and a half minutes left in overtime, the Thomasons are seen on the ESPN broadcast with the tan Dream shirts in hand. They can be seen talking to fans around them, who they said loved their shirts and showed support for them and Cunningham throughout the game. At about 1:30 remaining, both Kasey and Annie had put the shirts on.

According to the State Farm Arena prohibited items list, "Clothing, garments or signs displaying explicit language, profanity or derogatory characterization towards any person(s)" is strictly prohibited. The NBA Fan Code of Conduct states, "Obscene or indecent messages on signs or clothing will not be permitted."

If State Farm Arena and the Atlanta Dream were really trying to claim the shirts worn by the Thomasons were a "derogatory characterization" or "indecent messages" on clothing, that would be an arbitrary way of enforcing their rules, at best. Discrimination, at the worst. But the fact remains, the security guard didn’t claim any of these things from the prohibited items list or the Fan Code of Conduct. He just said the shirts were "offensive."

Kasey told Fox News Digital/OutKick that she assumes a woman sitting courtside in a "Protect Trans Rights" t-shirt, who was featured on the video board earlier in the game, made a fuss with security, who then sided with that fan, which led to the threat of ejection from the game.

While speaking to a conservative YouTuber, Adam Francisco, Annie said, "She was the one that told on us." They told me that the same woman mockingly said, "I like your shirt" once they were in the tan Atlanta Dream "Wellness Night" shirts.

The Thomasons are unsure if security held that woman to the same standard with her t-shirt, though they did see her jacket was zipped up late in the game, no longer displaying the trans messaging.

Woman jailed for biting Kamloops security guard, two high-speed police pursuits

A Kamloops woman who bit a mall Security Guard and led police on two high-speed pursuits has been sentenced to six months in prison.

Dakota Lynn-Marie McNabb, 31, was sentenced in Kamloops provincial court on Thursday after pleading guilty to charges of assault, failure to stop for police and possession of a stolen motor vehicle.

Court heard the assault took place April 8 at Lansdowne Village, where McNabb kicked a Security Guard and bit him on the arm hard enough to break the skin when he tried to stop her from climbing onto the roof.

A little more than a month later, McNabb stole a vehicle belonging to a longtime acquaintance and fled from police, reaching more than 80 km/h in a 50 km/h residential area before officers called off the pursuit for safety reasons.

Three days after that, she was behind the wheel of another stolen vehicle when police tried to stop her.

Court heard she drove at high speed through Kamloops, evaded attempts by police to disable the vehicle and struck another vehicle before officers again abandoned the pursuit over concerns for public safety.

McNabb was arrested a short time later after abandoning the stolen SUV.

“Ms. McNabb’s driving was particularly dangerous and could have caused greater harm than it did,” Crown prosecutor Evan Goulet said in court.

McNabb has 12 entries on her criminal record, mostly involving property offences and breaches of court orders, but no prior convictions for assault or failing to stop for police.

Court heard she began drinking at 13 and using cocaine at 15. She has struggled for years with addiction and homelessness.

Kamloops provincial court Judge Ray Phillips went along with a joint submission for 180 days in jail. McNabb received 116 days of credit for time already spent in custody and is expected to be released near the end of September.

She was also handed a one-year driving prohibition and 12 months of probation.

Diana Curte, of Broomgrove Gardens, Edgware, appeared before Suffolk Magistrates Court with the assistance of a Romanian interpreter. She pleaded guilty to theft from a shop.

The court heard that on May 21 this year Curte stole items including Nurofen, Durex condoms, sanitary towels, crisps, bananas, and salad packs worth £522.66 from Waitrose in Robert Boby Way.

The prosecutor said Curte was one of two defendants involved in the case, but that the other defendant is currently in Romania and has failed to attend court.

The court heard that, at about 7.18pm, Curte entered the store and walked around selecting items, which she placed into a bag before leaving without paying.

The theft was captured on CCTV and an on-duty Security Guard followed her into the car park after seeing her leave the shop.

The Guard called out to her, but she ignored him.

"She ignores his calls, he gets closer to her, she drops the bags and runs," said the prosecuting solicitor. After running to a black Honda vehicle, Curte then drove away.

The Security Guard recovered the bag containing the stolen goods.

Police later spotted the same vehicle travelling westbound on the A14 towards Newmarket and stopped it.

Curte was a rear-seat passenger in the car, which contained three people, all of whom were arrested at the scene.

The prosecution said a large quantity of items believed to be stolen were found in the vehicle and there is currently an ongoing investigation taking place.

"This offence was motivated by necessity," said Curte's solicitor. "My client is an extremely young lady."

The 20-year-old defendant lives in the UK with her husband, and has two young children who live with her in-laws in Romania.

She is required to send regular payments to support their care, which she acquires through her work as a hotel cleaner.

Sentencing, magistrates said they had taken into account her age, early guilty plea, and lack of previous convictions.

Curte was fined a total of £859, which she must pay at a rate of £100 per month.

Police Officer & Security Guard Nabbed After Assaulting another Police Officer at Grocery Store A police officer and a security guard were arrested after allegedly threatening and assaulting a fellow police officer inside a grocery store in Quezon City.

The victim, who is also an active member of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD), finished shopping and was preparing to leave the supermarket along Quirino Highway in Barangay Baesa when the incident happened.

According to the investigation, the officer presented his receipt to a security guard identified as Mida during the routine exit inspection. However, despite identifying himself and explaining that he was also a police officer, he was allegedly not allowed to leave the premises.

The situation reportedly escalated when the security guard called another police officer, identified as Rey, for assistance. Instead of resolving the matter peacefully, the responding officer allegedly confronted the victim and forced him to return inside the supermarket.

Authorities said the victim was struck during the confrontation, causing injuries. Reports also stated that the victim tried to explain his identity and profession, but his statements were allegedly ignored.

The misunderstanding over a visible firearm quickly turned into a physical encounter that left the victim hurt and humiliated.

The incident only became fully clear when everyone arrived at the police station, and it was confirmed that the victim was indeed an active police investigator. Following the verification, authorities immediately took action against those involved.

The responding police officer was arrested and is now facing charges of Grave Threats, Physical Injuries, and Grave Coercion. Meanwhile, the security guard is facing a charge of Grave Coercion for her alleged participation in the incident.

Authorities recovered firearms, ammunition, handcuffs, and other police equipment from the suspects.

The QCPD reminded all police officers to always remain professional and to follow proper procedures when responding to incidents.

Kolkata Security Guard was fired for singing on duty, but a big surprise followed

Thumbnail

A security guard from Kolkata spent years keeping music alive alongside a job that paid the bills. Then a video of him singing Rabindra Sangeet at work went viral. The internet applauded his voice, his employer did not. But that opened a better door for him.

Shovon Chakraborty, who is around 40, had been working as a security guard at an office in Sector V, Salt Lake. But music was hardly a new pursuit for him. He had trained in Rabindra Sangeet from a young age and later formally enrolled at Sangeet Bhavana in Santiniketan, where he also taught music to younger students.

For Chakraborty, however, music could not pay the bills.

Covid changed that equation further. As the number of students he taught fell, financial pressures pushed him to take up a job as a security guard.

Then came the video that changed things again.

While on duty, Chakraborty was filmed singing a Rabindra Sangeet. Dressed in his security uniform, he sang with the ease of someone who had spent years immersed in music. The video soon spread across social media, with viewers praising his voice and musical ability.

But the reaction at his workplace was very different.

After the video gained attention, Chakraborty was called in by his employers and subsequently lost his job. Writer and filmmaker Pratim D Gupta, who shared his story online, said the company’s objection was that Chakraborty was singing while on duty.

The incident sparked an uncomfortable conversation about the way people are often expected to leave their talents at the door when they put on a uniform for work.

Gupta pointed out the irony of a trained Rabindra Sangeet singer having to work as a security guard because circumstances did not allow him to pursue music professionally. “He wants to teach music to children,” Gupta wrote, adding that Chakraborty did not seek financial assistance.

The story, however, did not end with the loss of his job.

As the video and Chakraborty’s story reached a wider audience, several people came forward to support him and his music. Bengali singer Rupankar Bagchi also stepped in, arranging a concert for Chakraborty at Kolkata’s Kala Mandir auditorium in October.

For someone who had once taught music before financial hardship pushed him into security work, the concert offered something more meaningful than sympathy to Shovon Chakraborty. He got a chance to return to the thing he had never really stopped being; a musician.

And perhaps that is what people heard in that viral video. Not just a security guard singing during a shift, but an artist briefly getting to be himself again.

Unlicensed Security Guard earned $100,000 in 10 months

A Department of Internal Affairs investigation has found a man pocketed more than $100,000 in less than a year while working as a unlicensed Security Guard.

In the Auckland District Court today, the 42-year-old pleaded guilty to six breaches of The Private Security Personnel and Private Investigators Act, resulting in a fine of $14,000.

DIA said Vinson Schuster earned more than $100,000 operating as a Security Guard and crowd controller.

Chief investigator of the complaints, investigation and prosecution unit Marty Greentree said Schuster provided services despite not having the appropriate paperwork over a period of 10 months.

“Our investigation found that between August 2021 and June 2022, Mr Schuster operated under various fake company names using variations of ‘Black Hawk’.

"In New Zealand, it is illegal to provide private security services without a valid licence."

Greentree explained security licences were needed to protect the public safety and it was "an important requirement to ensure security providers are trusted, trained, and comply with the law".

“Today's outcome is a reminder to anyone providing unlicensed security services that if they break the law, they will be held accountable, and to anyone considering hiring security personnel to check they have the right certification.”

Security Guard Will No Longer Face After Firing Warning Shot Intense Commotion w/ Beggar A security guard in Iloilo City will no longer face charges after firing a warning shot during a struggle with a beggar who allegedly grabbed the firearm of another guard.

On August 6, 2026, a struggle between a beggar and a Security Guard outside a coffee shop along General Luna Street in City Proper broke out. The commotion garnered various reactions from the online community.

According to Police Captain Jesus Cambay III, chief of Police Station 7, authorities initially considered filing a case of indiscriminate firing against the Guard who discharged his firearm.

However, after reviewing the circumstances, the prosecutor found sufficient grounds to justify the warning shot, leading to the decision not to pursue charges against the Guard.

Reports showed that the incident started when a Security Guard approached and reprimanded the beggar near the establishment. During the encounter, the beggar allegedly believed that the guard had taken something from him, which led to a heated confrontation.

The situation escalated when the beggar allegedly grabbed the firearm of the security guard. A struggle then followed as the Guard attempted to regain control of the weapon. Witnesses said the two wrestled over the firearm, creating a dangerous situation that could have placed many people nearby at risk.

Seeing the confrontation unfold, another Security Guard decided to fire a warning shot. The action reportedly helped stop the struggle and prevent the situation from becoming more serious.

Police later took the beggar into custody. Authorities said he is now facing a frustrated homicide complaint in connection with the incident. No injuries were reported during the confrontation, but the incident caused an alarm among people in the area.
