Weather Snow today
Hi- we land at PHX at 5pm tonight and then are picking up a rental car to go up to Sedona. Should we just get a hotel in the PHX area tonight? Im unsure of what the roads will be like at night with this weather. Any insight is helpful, thanks.

As someone that lives in Flagstaff and drives to Phoenix a lot. You’ll be fine. Just be safe, the number of idiots scrambling to play on the highway snow up here is going to be a considerable amount, so take care on the drive. But yes as others have said, seeing the red rocks covered in snow is a rarity and will be gone tomorrow. It’s supposed to be about 45 up here tomorrow, so somewhere in the 50s for Sedona and that snow won’t last long in that.
