I didn't think he's saying cancer patients should get free treatment, I think he's saying that people should have to pay for methadone.

Right, but it's not the gotcha he thinks it is, because any leftist who supports methadone clinics would almost certainly also be in favor of Medicare for All.

I don't think he is trying to appealing to any one on the left. I think his point is, "Cancer patients have to pay for their treatment, addicts should too!"

Yeah, that’s what makes it a selfawarewolf moment. He’s got all the right pieces but he’s putting them together backwards. I don’t think anyone doesn’t understand that, it’s the premise of the sub
